Today lets take a look at this layout ...

I chose to use our Basics Fundamentals papers and pair it with our "Color of the Year"....Bashful :)  (see details on the Fundamentals SALE below) 

I also used the fabulous You Are Here Cricut collection...if you haven't heard the news....Provo Craft has decided to DISCONTINUE all physical Cricut cartridges!!  So that means from now on - ONLY digital cartridges...and that means our Exclusive, CTMH cartridges are on a while supplies last basis.  Learn more by clicking HERE!

Let's take a closer look at this layout....

The "Rest & Relax" wording were found on page 19 of this cartridge book & the feathers were from page 42.  If you'd like to view ALL 700 images of this cartridge - CLICK HERE...it is an AMAZING collection once again!!

For the title, I cut it out in Black Cardstock & then was able to cut just the "Relax" in our Bashful GLITTER paper...such a beautiful touch!!

You can see this page is VERY simple...but pretty.  The basics Fundamentals have that effect...so subtle, yet BEAUTIFUL!!  

Here's a close up of just the words....

On the other side of the page, I cut some simple images again (book- pg. 42...coffee cup- page 47) 

Did you notice the CLEAR overlays?? These are made for your pocket scrapbooking - however, they are GREAT for regular scrapbook pages (or even card fronts) too!!  This clear "transparency" with the rose design will be an extra touch to a photo that is placed behind it. :) 

To finish up this layout, I added a few of our Bashful colored pearls, & the beautiful gray/gold ribbon from the Basic Fundamentals Ribbon collection.

Christmas Card Blog Hop

I adore the Christmas stamp set "Prince of Peace" as it reminds me about the REAL meaning of the Christmas season!  I also love to do "non-traditional" colors for Christmas cards :)....so out came my Sapphire & Eggplant shades of CS as I planned this card design. 

Here's my card for todays hop...  

I had fun creating this simple, re-creatable card.  (is that a word?? LOL!) 
The gray designed paper on the front left of the card, came from our BEAUTIFUL Silver & Gold paper collection. 

Let's take a closer look...

Did you notice the Sapphire CS mat on the front, was embossed with one of our newest 5x7 Embossing Folders??  This embossed design is called Buffalo Plaid.

I wanted to include some "subtle" sparkle (if there is such a thing ;) ) ...and after cutting the Star from our beautiful White Glitter paper, using our Basic Stars thin Cut collection...I wanted just a "touch" more glitter.  

Can you see it??   I added clear glitter, with my Shimmer Brush, on the oval ring of stars!!  Yay!!! It worked! :) 

Next I wanted to create a simple inside...and I wanted this card to have a different fold than "normal"...yes, I know - craziness - but I must say it's quite FUN to change things up! :) This is what I came up with for the inside!!

I tied in the white glitter paper, but cutting our wonderful Tree Border from our Thin Cuts.  AND...then I looked at my stamp sets again, and realized how fitting it would be to use the "Hallelujah" stamp set for my inside sentiment. :)  

Also, I'm not sure how well you can see it in these photos, but I chose to use the lighter side of my Eggplant colored Cardstock to stamp my sentiment on.  I ADORE that our Cardstock at CTMH has TWO-COLORS...the regular color on 1st side & a lighter shade of that color on the backside!! Wahoo!!!

Here are the 2 stamp sets I used on this card.  If you are looking for a Christmas stamp set, these may just be what you are looking for!!

Today, I'll be showcasing this card I created using the beautiful Adventure Fundamentals paper collection....that's ON SALE this month at CTMH!! 
(we'll talk about this sale further down this post ;) )  

Let's take a look! 

I created this swing card, using our BEAUTIFUL Adventure Fundamentals papers.  I decided I also wanted to pull in our NEW Silver foil paper, & wanted to use some images from our "You Are Here" Cricut collection...FUN, FUN!! :) 

Let's take a look at the front of the card...

You can see the silver foil tucked behind the sentiment...and YES - I did "emboss" some diagonal lines in the silver foil!  I love to use my embossing stylus or bone folder to "indent" those lines and bring some character to the silver foil paper! 

I also used a piece of lagoon colored ribbon from the Adventures Fundamentals Ribbon collection on the left side of the card front AND...the sentiment shape & the flower image, came from the "You Are Here" CTMH Cricut collection!  

This cartridge is becoming a FAST favorite...and in case you haven't heard - all PHYSICAL Cricut cartridges are NOW on a While Supplies Last basis!!  Provo Craft has decided that they will be going totally digital - so if you haven't yet purchased this amazing, EXCLUSIVE Cricut collection from CTMH - please make sure  you do before they are gone!  

As you can see -the 700 images, alphabet font and more....make this cartridge one of the top ones in your Cricut collection! :) 

So...now, let's take a look at the stamp set I used to create this card.  This stamp set is a FABULOUS one and can be used for many different occasions!!  Take a look at the "Many Congratulations" stamp set image...

Did you notice the word ADOPTION??  There were A LOT of people excited to see this word as part of this stamp set!! 

I wanted this card design to be a bit "different" than normal, so I decided to create a swing type card.  It was easy to do, I folded my card into the normal size of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2...and then just folded the front of the card in half a second time!! :)  It's always so neat to see how "different" a card can be, just by folding it one more time!!

For the inside, I used the thin Cuts - Heart Border (our fabulous Metal Dies) to have an accent on the bottom of my card AND....you also see some of these hearts when the card is closed too!  

I decided to use the flower image on the inside of the card, and used my ShinHan alcohol markers to color it in.

I finished off the card, but using our oh so fabulous black & white dots. :)
