This month we have  Close To My Heart Consultants sharing items they created using these FABULOUS new products.   This hop is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Wahoo!!

Close To My Heart has done it again!!
  
This new mini Book is FILLED with BEAUTIFUL papers, embellishments & products!! My favorite paper pack in this NEW book, is "Spruced Up"..and so that's the paper collection that I created with today! 

Here are the two cards I created....

Now, let's take a look at those BEAUTIFUL pattern designs in the "Spruced Up" paper collection!  

The deep, rich tones are perfect for winter...or can be used for any occasion for that matter. :) 

The stamp set that I used for this card, is an EXCLUSIVE one, that comes from our Spruced Up Cardmaking kit!  I love to use those stamp sets in a variety of ways.

Do you see that GORGEOUS, stitched, scallop circle behind the flowers??

WE have NEW "Thin Cuts" (metal dies) and THIS item is one of my favorite new tools in this Jan/Feb mini book!!  
Best of all, the PRICE is magnificent!! Only $9.95 US!!! 

 I took a photo of the 3 new Thin Cuts we carry in this mini book...which one is your favorite?? (I really, REALLY like the stitched brackets too!) 

I was PLEASANTLY surprised & excited when I realized that our "retired" Bashful Shimmer Brush was the perfect shade of PINK to color in the flowers!!  

After I stamped my flowers with Intense Black ink pad, I colored in the flowers with the Shimmer Brush, and also used the Dull Green Tri-Blend Spectrum Noir alcohol marker to color in the green leaves. 

Here is a picture of the stamp set...remember, this stamp set can only be found in the Spruced Up Cardmaking Kit.

It's the first month of a BRAND NEW catalog here at Close To My Heart, so there were a LOT of fun products to choose from to create something today!

Check out the card I created, and then we'll talk about the details of the card.... 

This card uses our NEW "Spruced Up" paper collection! Look at that beautiful Sangria color...and our "color of the year" Julep green!  These two colors together are so striking!

The stamp set used for this card is an EXCLUSIVE one...let's take a look. 

This stamp can ONLY be purchased through our Spruced Up Cardmaking Workshop kit!! One of the MAIN perks in purchasing our cardmaking workshop kits...IS this exclusive stamp set & Thin Cut bundle!!   

All of the shaded in images of the stamp, also have coordinating dies to go with them. (in this case there are 4 Thin Cuts for this stamp set) 

 CTMH has thought of everything, and more and more, I lean toward my stamp sets that have the coordinating Thin Cuts (metal dies) to go with them. :)

Now that we can SEE the stamped images....look closely at the Ballerina (light pink) background.  

Do you see those tiny flowers?? They were all stamped with our Mink colored ink.  So FUN to create this background!!

You can probably guess how EASY it was to stamp the banner and words, after I cut that banner out with our Thin Cut :) Yay!! 

Here is a look at the ENTIRE workshop kit that INCLUDES this stamp set.  

It's a great deal for sure!! 

There is an instruction guide included in the kit, and these are the 3 designs of cards that you can created.  

You may have noticed that my card design in similar...but I changed up a few things, and made my own card design!

Those flowers...and do you see the shimmer? 

I pulled out our retired, Bashful Shimmer brush to give some shine & glitz to this flower bouquet. 

I also seem to be coloring more these days...and really enjoying it too!!  I have our NEW  Tri-Blend alcohol markers  to blame for the coloring.  Having 3 different shades of one color, in ONE marker....you can't go wrong!!
  

The 3 markers I used were the Dark Red, Dull Green & Pale Pink.  Then I pulled in that "shiny" Bashful shimmer brush too!

A newer item that we carry, are these ADORABLE Acrylic hearts.  

For this project, I wanted COLORED hearts, ....so I pulled out my Tri-Blend alcohol markers, and colored them to match my paper!

I used 2 of my Tri-Blends.... Blue Turquoise & Bright Pink



I also used some BRAND NEW items that are shown in our Jan/Feb mini Idea book....I ADORE all of these new goodies!!

*Soft Pink Shimmer Trim

I also used our CLEAR Shimmer Brush inside the Raspberry inked heart.

My papers come from our BRAND NEW "Celebrate Today" papers. What a BRIGHT & Happy paper pack!

 

I also used, our "oldy by goody" Rectangle Stitched Frame Thin Cuts. 
These are so versatile and can be used on almost ANY project!
