Today I'm EXCITED to share with you some BEAUTIFUL, 
but QUICK & EASY treat bags!!  

Close To My Heart  has recently released a new line of items called the "Cut Above" items.  These products help you to MAXIMIZE YOUR MINUTES for when you want to create something from the heart, but are running short on time!  

While these treat bags look ADORABLE just how they are, I added a few embellishments to "jazz" them up a bit!

I added a FEW embellishments to make these bags a bit more FUN!!

I used NEW embellishments from this Seasonal Expression 1 book...
Puffies
White Shimmer Trim

and I also used some of our other embellishments too..
Enamel White Stars
Teal Shimmer Trim.  

Did you notice the stamp set I used? 
While this set is not the one pictured with the treat bags in this new mini-book, (I haven't been able to purchase that one yet ;)) I DID have this stamp set in my stash!  It is still a current, order-able set & thought it would be the "perfect-fit"!!!

Here is a closer look at a few of the bags embellishments...it was so EASY to add these extra goodies!!  Having all the embellishments adhesive backed (yes, the shimmer trim is too!) it made it even EASIER & QUICKER to create! 

  

These white stars are PERFECT for this party bag!

By adding a puffy & some dovetailed shimmer trim, you get a totally NEW look!

These bags are PERFECT for so MANY occassions!! You'll want to make sure to have some on hand, to be able to use them in a flash!! J

Today I chose to share a set of cards created with our NEW paper pack, Hopscotch. 

This paper pack is so FUN, and it makes me happy & smile whenever I see it! J

 

The colors that coordinate with Hopscotch are…Falxen, Glacier, Indian Corn Blue, Ponderosa Pine, Smoothie & Sunset. Isn’t it beautiful? J  

 

 

I also used one of the NEW stamp sets shown in the SE1…it’s called Happy to Be Friends.  

Take a peek at this stamp set. 

I can’t WAIT to use all these sayings and pair these words together to create different phrases!

  Did you notice the little sparkly bird & butterfly on my cards?  These cuties come from our NEW Embellishments called Puffies!

 

 

 

Puffies include ninety puffy glitter stickers in assorted shapes and 5 different colors.

I used 2 more NEW products from the SE1 book…can you find them in the picture above?  

Take a look at the Glacier cardstock - I used the Diamond 5x7 Embossing Folder to turn this cardstock into it’s own designer paper.  There are FOUR new embossing folders in this mini-book --which means we now have a GRAND total of 13 BEAUTIFUL embossing designs!!! 

I also used the FUN, NEW Extra Thick Twine!  This twine comes  in 2 colors….Pixie pink or Flaxen- the color I used.

Here is the card I created this month.J

My card design came from our Make It From Your Heart #2 publication. 

I used the NEW Heartstrings paper pack that will be arriving at CTMH on December 1st!!  Wahoo!!! J 

Take a look at this GORGEOUS new paper pack!!

These cupcake stamps needed some color, and this time I chose to color them in with our ShinHan alcohol markers.

First, I used my black pigment ink, and sprinkled clear embossing powder over top the ink & heat set it to have permanent lines prior to using my markers.

I wanted to use the NEW Heart embossing folder too!!  I can’t WAIT to use more of this embossing folder…the hearts are ADORABLE!

Would you like to guess where the arrow came from?

Well, since you asked - the arrow is part of the Zip-Strip in this collection!!  I LOVE Zip strips, and in case you don’t know what they are….they are an extra goodie that CTMH includes with ALL their designer sheets of paper!! 

Zip-strips are a 1/2” strip at the top of all designer papers…there is a pretty design on one side, and a list of colors used in that particular paper collection on the other side!!  What a FABULOUS little extra you receive when you purchase CTMH paper packs! J
