CTMH has brought back a FAVORITE paper pack from 2015!! Do you remember our Zoe paper??  This was a FAVORITE of mine, and I love the updated colors & 12x12 sticker sheet that is INCLUDED with each paper collection!!  

Today, I chose to create a collection of cards.  Our How-To-Books at CTMH, make it SO INCREDIBLY easy to do this!! 
This card design came from our Make It From Your Heart, vol 4 --- pattern #17.  Let's take a look!

Let's take a look at this 6 pack of paper showcasing the UPDATED Zoe papers...and the coordinating 12x12 sticker sheet!
Our  "Zoe" collection has such BEAUTIFUL colors!!

I used the "Heartfelt Thank You" stamp set, for my card today. 

As you can see.....there is no "color" inside the heart. 
 Now, take a look at my card :) ....do you see the color INSIDE the heart??  
Let me share how I made that happen!!

Post It Notes are a crafters best friend....and that's what I used to "color" the heart!! Check out the photos below! 

For the finishing touches, I added our Skinny White & Gold ribbon & the BEAUTIFUL I Heart Us Sequins.  
If you haven't noticed these iridescent sequins....you'll want to check them out, because they leave us on April 30th!!  There are FOUR COLORS in this pack...white, green, yellow & blue/purple....and YES --- they ALL are iridescent! :) 

I ADORE both of these embellishments!!

I have a few cards to share with you today.  As some of you may know, our current Idea Book at CTMH, the Seasonal Expression 1, will be retiring this month - on April 30th!  
That means, there are a LOT of products that will be leaving us...so you'll want to make SURE to get in touch with your CTMH Consultant to learn more!!  

I wanted to share 3 cards with you today. All of these cards use the EXCLUSIVE stamp set, that is included in the "Choose To Shine" Cardmaking Workshop kit.  Take a look...
  

I ADORE the clouds in this set...and maybe that's why I made so many different cards using them. :) 
The addition of the iridescent sequins (that come in our loose Gold Sequin pack) were also fun additions to these card designs.  

This card design & stamped images came from the "Choose To Shine" Cardmaking Workshops Your Way (WYW) kit.  I enjoy "mixing up" the original card designs...and coming up with new orientations to create newly designed cards!  

If you haven't used one of our WYW Cardmaking Workshop kits before...take a look at this beautiful set! 

This kit is PERFECT and will create a total of 12 cards, using these 2 designs here.

April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - "Love So Sweet"

What a FUN set, and I can't wait to see what my CTMH sisters create with this stamp set! :) I'm sure you saw some beautiful work already in this hop. :)    

Today, I chose to create this card design using this stamp set.
Let's check it out!   

I used a past WYW cardmaking kit sketch to create this card design. I also wanted to use a variety of paper packs in this creation.

The color combination, came from our BELOVED "Love of Color" design book.  If you haven't taken a look at this book yet, you'll want to make SURE to do that!  This is a FABULOUS book, with great color combinations BUT...there are also so MANY pieces of beautiful artwork in here too! 

Let's take a look at some of the details of this card. 

For the top border, I used the silver shimmer trim & silver glitter gems to add some shine & sparkle. If you look closely...you'll also notice I used our Mint colored ink and stamped the border that's included in this BEAUTIFUL stamp set! 

I did cut out the butterfly, a few leaves & the flower.  I enjoy "fussy" cutting & our micro tip scissors make it an easy job to do! :) 

The shimmer on the flower, comes from our clear shimmer brush.  I just brushed it over of my Pixie colored flower ....and ta-da!  A glittery flower is the result :)

"Love Blossoms" Blog Hop

The stamps in this collection are GORGEOUS & I chose to create a card, using 2 of the stamps....Take a look! 

My card today, was INSPIRED by a card I saw on "The Card Lodge" blog...where she created a very simple card design with one grouping of flowers. 

Here is a look at the double set of STAMPS that are included in our "Love Blossoms" cardmaking kit....or you can purchase this double stamp set by itself too! 

After stamping the flower in Memento ink, I chose to use our Watercolor Pencils to fill in with color.  

Instead of using the "normal" waterbrush to blend my colors together ;) ....I used our CLEAR Shimmer Brush instead!!! 

Check this out! If you click on the photo to enlarge it, you will see the touch of shimmer pen on top of the flowers (that shimmer is SO hard to capture on camera!) 

I then took my white embossing powder & heat set the words on the black cardstock strip.

Clear Sequins, from our loose gold sequin collection, added the final touch to this very simple card design.

My card today features our "the Berry Best" stamp set & our So Much Happy paper pack.   

This card design came from the "Choose To Shine" Cardmaking Workshops Your Way (WYW) kit.  We had card class these week at my home, and at each class, I ALSO create another card with a different stamp set - BUT--- I use the same paper cuts from the Cardmaking WYW kit!  It's a fun challenge to take on each month! 

Here is a look at the "So Much Happy" paper collection.  What a FUN & Happy paper....AND you'll want to make SURE to talk with your CTMH consultant.  All of our current paper collections that are in our Seasonal Expression 1 Idea book - are BOGO 50% off this month!!  Wahoo!! 

Let's take a look at a few more details of this card. 

I used TWO stamp sets for this card...
1. The "The Berry Best" stamp set is a great set for sure! Take a look at the ADORABLE sayings that are included in this set! 

 

Did you notice all the separate stamp image designs in the berry stamp collection? 

There's a berry stamp...
a stamp that only stamps the leaves....
you can even stamp "seeds" on the strawberries!!

AND...the basket & berries fit PERFECTLY together! 

I ADORE the white & gold skinny ribbon that is INCLUDED in this Cardmaking Kit.  I also used some of the iridescent sequins in our gold sequin pack. 

2. "Choose to Shine" EXCLUSIVE stamp set, that can ONLY be purchased as part of the Cardmaking Workshop Kit. 

OH the Possibilities!!  Stitched clouds, stitched circles & that banner...the grass...oh FUN!!  So many possibilities!!

I DID have some fun, creating a longer banner than what came in the "Choose to Shine" stamp set.  Let me share how I created this below...

I wanted a LONGER banner....but LOVED the stitching at the top of the banner stamp...oh what to DO to make it longer??  

I figured out a way...I'm not sure it's the BEST way ;)...but I'll share it with you - and I'd love to hear any way you have to create longer banners...

1. I used 2nd generation CLOVER ink to create this banner.....

and STAMP image onto White Daisy Cardstock

You end up with a slight "line" in the middle of the longer stamped banner, but once you pair it with the regular size banner...you really don't even notice it AND it gives it a special look! :)
