These flower stamps reminded me of spring…so off I went to create a card!J

This card does open from the side rather than the bottom- something different from my normal routine card.

If you look close at the top of the card (the kraft color) you will notice I used our dotted embossing folder to create some more texture to this card design.

I chose not to use any paper packs with this card, (I just used cardstock) HOWEVER I did use the ink colors from the Brushed paper collection.

Recently, I saw a card that used the “stencil” type effect, and wanted to create that as well!  So, I found a leftover shape on my desk that was cut from our Cricut cartridge & used that for my stencil as I sponged ink around the words on this card!

I took my sponge, and in a circular motion….filled in the background with the flaxen ink color. You can see I also kept the stencil in place when I inked my flowers too!  That allowed for a clear space for my words.

Here is a close up of the few embellishments I used on this card - golden butterfly puffies (only available til March 31!!) and the bitty sparkles from the Black & Grey Sparkle collection.

Here is the list of products I used on this card in case you'd like to create one of your own!  J
