Oh---what a BEAUTIFUL, new Catalog!! 

I decided to create a card today, with possibly my FAVORITE Stamp & Thin Cut set in this book...let's take a look at my cards & then I'll explain WHY it's my favorite. 😉 

This card design comes from the Hillside Cottage Cardmaking Workshop kit. 

The card on the left is Card Design #3 in the workshop. 

The card on the right is my Krista's Crafty "changed up" version of this card design!😊

Let's take a closer look! 😍

I ADORE what CTMH has done in this new catalog with a few of the stamp sets. 

They have created stamp sets where you can stamp BEAUTIFUL layered floral clusters, and you will not have to cut out the entire grouping by hand!😮

CTMH has created a Thin Cut (metal die) to cut out the finished shape! 

All we need to do is look at the enclosed package insert for ideas on how we'd like to stamp our flowers! 💗

Here's a Close-up look at one of these flower clusters....

How BEAUTIFUL is this?!?! 

I used 3 ink colors ---Paprika, Flamingo & New England Ivy.  

To get the two tones of pinks...I just "stamped off" my flower on scrap paper before applying it a 2nd time as my flower on the cut piece.  This is called 2nd Generation stamping.

The "shading" behind the flowers, is the Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink! Isn't it neat how it "highlights" the cluster of flowers?!

My FAVORITE thin cut in this set---is the STITCHED LINE! I ADORE this thin cut & love the ways it can be used!! 

Can you see WHERE I used this stitched die on this card?  😉

I am ALWAYS amazed at what such a "small" touch can do to the beauty of the project!! 

I also chose to add some Black Shimmer Trim to "my" changed up card as well.  I love the touch of glitter & shine it brings to this card!

May is National Scrapbooking Month, 

and that's a WONDERFUL reason to celebrate!!

  

I LOVE that Close To My Heart loves to CELEBRATE---and this year, they have created a FABULOUS collection!! 

Here is the card I created using the BEAUTIFUL, "You Are Enough" paper suite....take a look!

The "You Are Enough" paper, has SO MANY beautiful colors included in the designs! Many of the papers also have a rose gold foil pattern to it too!! 💗💗

To create my card, I went through the papers & pulled out the blue/greens colors.  This card sketch came from our FABULOUS, Make It From Your Heart vol 1 book -- pattern #15. As many of you already know, 😍 I ADORE our How-To books!  

Let's take a look at this BEAUTIFUL paper collection before we look at more details of the card I created! 

The "You Are Enough" paper pack, comes as a set of 12 sheets of paper! 

You can also choose to get the 12x12 sticker sheet if you choose. 

There is also a collection of the LOVELY, Cardstock, embedded with the beautiful rose gold foil designs.  So, so PRETTY! 

     Aren't they GORGEOUS??  

Look at those BEAUTIFUL papers!! 

I WILL mention that they are even MORE pretty in person! 💗💗

Back to the card design--- I really wanted to use the "Spring Blossoms" Embossing Folder with this card, and I figured out how! The white strip of paper was the subtle touch this card needed. I added a few strips of Sapphire Glitter Paper, for an extra shiny touch. 

The butterfly image, I cut from Copper Ore Cardstock! If you haven't tried our 3 new specialty cardstocks, you are missing out! 😮😉😊

May SOTM - Flowers for You Blog Hop

Here is a look at this month's EXCLUSIVE stamp set!! 💗

A pretty floral stamp set, but I believe my FAVORITE part of this stamp is the beautiful font lettering!!

Here is my card I designed using this stamp set.😍

What fun, to have a BRAND NEW, Make It From Your Heart How-To Book & if you know me...I had to pull it out and use it right away!!😊

This is card pattern #27 from our volume 5 book & was so EASY to create! 

Did you know---we, at CTMH, have a BRAND NEW catalog that was just released TODAY??  (check it out HERE)

The paper I used, was one of our BEAUTIFUL new papers, called "Hillside Cottage".  

Here's a look at this pretty paper pack! 

I chose to stamp the flower image in Intense Black Ink & then used my Tri-Blend Markers to color them in!!💗

If you haven't tried these markers...they are AMAZING!! There are 3 different colors in ONE marker--they are fabulous & make me feel like I really know how to color, because they blend so well! 

If you look closely, you may see that in the middle of the flowers, I went over that solid color with the BLACK Shimmer Brush. It's so pretty to see that sparkle in person!

Did you notice the subtle, dotted background on this card? 

I created that by stamped 2nd generation black. After the ink was dry---I came back with the lovely Ballerina - Liquid Pearl to add some fun dimension to this card. 

Another "quick addition" that adds SO MUCH---add stitched lines with your journaling pen! 😍 

  

My final touch was a touch of Blue Belle Shimmer Trim & a couple Blue Belle pearls.  I'm not sure WHY the camera didn't pick up the pretty blue color!

What a FUN, FUN card to create!!
