Creations with Elemental

I promised I’d share some more Elemental artwork…and here it is! J

I had a LOT of fun with this set and LOVE the versatility of this Paper Pack!! 
First, here is what the Elemental Paper pack looks like…

There are SOOO many ways to USE this paper pack!!! 

Here is a Christmas Card I created using this paper pack and the “Love Life” stamp set.  (remember....just click on the picture to see more detail!)

I LOVE the Rhinestone Designer brads, and it gave my ribbon that extra touch.  Of course adding some Stardust Glitz Glitter gel, sparkles AND I created some of my own glimmer mist…I have a totally “frosted” Christmas card!

Here is a 3x3 card that I created using the new stamp set called “Christmas Love” shown on page 101 in the Fall/Winter 2011 Idea Book. 

I wanted to try some hand stitching J (this is NOT a common practice of mine) so…I used our new clear 14” ruler! 

This ruler has become a personal friend…not only is it a ruler, but it has a grid printed on it and holes spaced evenly along the bottom so that I can evenly space my STITCHING and the placement of my Brads!  It also has a metal straight edge so I can use my craft knife with this and not worry about digging into the plastic.  Can you see the red lines at the bottom of the ruler? (remember you can click on ANY picture to see more detail) These lines help me to decide if I’d like a straight stitch pattern OR another style of stitching!!  This ruler is WONDERFUL!!!!

Ok J – back to creating…you can see the rest of the detail on this 3x3 card. 

YES- I DO enjoy using my craft knife and cutting around stamped items J – keep in mind…these cards were supposed to be the "BEST of the BEST "and I was supposed to go "ALL OUT"- these cards were for the class I taught at Convention this past summer.  So, NO I don’t ALWAYS put in so much detail into a card J – but I do enjoy doing this every once in a while!. 

Another Elemental creation is this Cherish card!  This is a card that just “happened” – and I did like the end result. 

MOST of these card designs DID come from one of Close To My Heart’s how-to books…either the Originals book or the Wishes book.  I HIGHLY recommend these books!  I LOVE the time these books save me!!  I don’t have to take the time to think of my own design but instead I look at a sketch from the book, chose a paper pack and WA- LA – a card is created! J 

This card was a lot of FUN and it makes me feel happy when I look at it! I used MANY new items on this card…Bling Assortment, Just Blooms Paper Shapes (butterfly), Red Collection Designer Ribbon, Silver Glitz Glitter Gel, Elemental Complements, Ruler….I think I listed them all. J

The last CARD I will share with you today is my clear snowflake card. 

This card may look familiar to some of you…I used this card design to create a clear card for my Wonderland Swap!  I loved the snowflake with the colors of sorbet, pacifica and lagoon.  Adding the Bling pearl pins and the sparkle buttons add to the winter feel.  I also used some of the NEW ribbon from the red collection designer ribbon- the color is sorbet.  

Ok – ONE last item – that is not a card, but something I created with this Elemental Paper and I really LOVE it!

I had SOOO Much fun using the new Just Bloom Butterflies and then using a stamp set from the Spring book (it's still availalbe!!! C1440 Take a Picture)  By using some pearl paint and re-inker and shaking that inside our spray pen- I created a pearl like butterfly!

Once again I thought I’d share some of the talent of fellow consultants from the swap I participated in.

Let me show you some of these items in more detail…I believe my favorite piece that she created was this clever gift bag holder!  Do you know how she made it?  Out of our NEW die-cut 6x6 kraft cards!  How creative!!!  She also used the “center point” button on her Cricut Expression machine to create the oval. What a GREAT button to use for something like this!

I love the difference a CIRCLE card can make!  What FUN!!!  This card is so cute and I plan on remembering how Pamela used the ribbon slide…but then stuck a brad in the middle of it to give it a totally new look! J

Be a Junior Consultant – You like CTMH's products and can't resist getting more than $350 for only $99 by getting the consultant kit. Everyone signs up as a full Consultant and if after one full quarter, you do not have $300 in retail sales, you will become a Junior Consultant. “Why should I sign up to become a CTMH Consultant”,

hopefully this post will clarify some of your questions.

1. How much does the New Consultant Kit cost?The regular price is $99 (plus tax and shipping).
2. What comes in the New Consultant Kit?You get a ton of great products valued at over $280 and the option to choose different Add-On kits that you can see here. Plus if you sign up in October 2011, you get to choose one of the Add-On Options for FREE! (That's a value of over $400 depending on which option you choose!)
3. What’s the catch? Other than getting a ton of wonderful products at a great deal and most likely getting addicted to them, (I’m just warning you- hee, hee)there is no catch. You have the opportunity to build a business if you choose, but you don’t have to.
4. What if I don’t want to build a business and I just want to get the discount for myself on future orders? That’s great! A majority of Consultants are Hobbyists or Personal Use Consultants and do not do parties or hold classes or workshops. You are welcome to simply enjoy the discount on your own orders.
5. What is the discount?Active Consultants enjoy a discount of 22%-35% depending on their sales for the month in addition to earning up to $75 in FREE product credit each month. Senior Directors and above also earn an additional 5% - 15% of personal override commission ON TOP of the regular commission and free product credit! Your earning potential is unlimited!
6. What are the sales requirements?The sales requirement is $300 retail (before your discount) to stay a full Consultant.
7. What if I don’t place $300 in a quarter or place any orders at all?Once you sign up, you have a full quarter to make your sales minimum which means that you have until the end of March to enjoy the full discount if you choose. Then if you do not have $300 in orders, you will drop to Junior Consultant status on April 1st. As a Junior Consultant your discount drops to 10% but you only need to have $100 in orders per quarter. If you do not have $100 in that quarter, you simply drop and are no longer a Consultant. But if you happen to have $300 as a Junior, you automatically jump back up to full status!
8. How long will I be a Consultant if I order the kit and then do nothing?You will be active until March 31st. Then you will drop to Junior on April 1st . Then as of July 1st, you will no longer be considered a Consultant. But our new catalog comes out in August (July for Consultants) and you may just be surprised at all of the great new products and will probably be VERY excited that you are a Consultant and are able to order the new products at a discount. So chances are you will not drop! LOL!
9. Do I need to give the Kit back if I drop?Nope. Everything is yours to keep! No strings attached.
10. Are you required to maintain an inventory?Nope. There are so many different products that CTMH actually suggests that you do not maintain an inventory. You can place an order for 1 item or 1000 items, so there is really no need to keep an inventory.
11. Does the company offer Hostess gifts? If so, who pays for them?Yes! CTMH pays for the hostess rewards. And as a Consultant, you are welcome to be your own Hostess and earn more free goodies!
12. Does CTMH offer any training or events?Ummm....a great big YES!!!! There are so many different training options available including an entire Online Training Academy where you can take free online creative, business, and personal development classes. You can even earn your CTMH Bachelors, Masters, and PhD degrees!(got to love this!)  There is an entire listening library of recorded conference calls, bulletin boards for artwork, business, templates, Studio J, Swaps, Mentoring, and more. They have pre-designed projects and workshops for us to use. There are annual events such as Leadershare and Convention – you WON’T want to miss it!  There is even an 800# that you can call if you have questions. And a ton more! You will never be without help.
13. How do you sign up?You can sign up at my website HERE. It will only take you about 5 minutes. The hardest part will be choosing which Add-Ons you want with your kit! But not to fear. You can always choose them all at only $40 each. But remember, you get to choose one for FREE if you sign up in October.
14. How long will it take to receive my kit?They have been shipping them out very quickly. CTMH gets them out of the warehouse 1-2 days after you sign up and then it will depend on where you live how fast it will ship to you. 
15. Can I contact you if I have questions after I sign up?Of course!!! I’m here to help YOU!!  I am available to my team via phone, email and Facebook. I am more than happy to help you get started building a business, or just encourage you if you would simply like to be a Personal Use Consultant .

Believe Artwork ~ Ideas for your Christmas creations!

Hi everyone!   Today I’d like to share with you some of the beautiful artwork I received in a recent swap I was in. 

Do you know what a “swap” is?   I’ve had people ask me this question, so let me explain. A swap is a Great  way to receive  Amazing Artwork!!

For this swap –I created a 12x12 layout and 4 different types of cards;  the cards were specified as to what kind they needed to be.  I created 8 SETS of these 5 items, kept one set for myself and sent off the other 7 to the WONDERFUL lady hosting this swap.  When she received them, she divided up my swaps and gave me 7 different swaps in return for the set that I did!!!  Yayy!!!! 

So in an earlier post I showed you my swap items that I created with the Wonderland paper pack…you can see that post again by clicking HERE. 

Today I will share with you the swap pages of Karen Morris – our fearless Leader & swap coordinator!    Karen used the Paper Pack – Believe – and designed some amazing artwork!!!  Here is a picture of all the pieces she created…

I must show you the details she had on her 12x12 page.  The top middle red plaid square is a small booklet!!!  What a GREAT idea to add this to a page!  Love it!!! 

Glitz Glitter gel is a “hot” item this year too! LOL!  I can’t stop using it and others enjoy it too!

Next, take a look at this BEAUTIFUL Christmas card…Karen used the Art Philosophy Circuit cartridge for the border shape and the Christmas tree.  She also used the Silver Glitz Glitter gel AND the NEW Rhinestone Designer brad.  So simple and elegant!

I think this card is so FESTIVE!!!  The stardust Glitz Glitter gel gives is that extra shine!


This card was created using our NEW die-cut cards designs! 

The edge of this card makes any creation a bit more special!   I had to do a double take as I looked at the paper used on this card…it didn’t seem like it was from the Believe paper pack – but it WAS!!  I love how VERSATILE our new Designer Paper Packs are! 


A FAVORITE stamp set of everyone’s…it HAS to be a top seller…is the Remarkable Wreath stamp set.  Karen created this card using that set.  Using our new BULK choc striped ribbon and some red glitz glitter gel makes this card shine!

I'm sooooo excited!!!  I have "officially" earned the Hawaiian Cruise with Close To My Heart!!!  Yayyy!!!

Thank you to each one of you for making this possible! :) Earning this trip is an added bonus in being a CTMH consultant and I feel like I have so much already!!  The friendships with each one of you is the biggest blessing to being a consultant!

I think back to when I first met so many of you - and I'm amazed and thankful for the friendships that have formed. I love that we can share about life in general and also share in our excitement together about the newest and greatest items regarding Close To My Heart!  I look forward to continuing in our friendship as well as make new friends too!

As far as this trip to Hawaii - it is a DREAM come true!!!  This trip is for two :) - so my husband will be joining me.  This is the 2nd trip I have earned with CTMH- the first one being New Zealand - and we were amazed at the fun extras CTMH includes for those that have earned these trips!  They pamper us royally and give us a new gift (packaged so pretty) in our room every day!!!  So fun and special!
