Today's post comes from a recent "Make It From Your Heart" blog post by the CTMH Home Office. I wanted to make SURE you saw this gorgeous artwork - and thought I'd take a moment to post it on my personal blog too! ;)
Take a look at this BEAUTIFUL artwork, created by the very talented & my fellow CTMH Consultant, Executive Director Karen Pedersen. She has created these pieces of artwork by combining our NEWEST papers - Whimsy, Adventure, Enchantment, and Basics Fundamentals.
That means you can save money on brand new products that you can use to create amazing artwork pieces like these:
Our Basics Fundamentals, which include theUptown Fundamentalsand theRustic Home Fundamentalsyou can get for free this month, are called basics because they feature neutral colors. This means they work in perfect harmony with any of our colors.
OurRustic Home Fundamentalsfeature soft browns and greys, with textures that remind us of home, like these wooden slats:
OurUptown Fundamentalsfeature black, grey, and gold patterns for a chic, modern look. Pair them with bright colors, like Karen did here, or with more muted colors for an entirely different look.
Isn’t this artwork incredible? Thank you so much, Karen, for letting us share your beautiful artwork with our CTMH family!

The stamp sets I used on these cards are the August Stamp of the Month(SOTM) - Purr-fect halloween AND I used all THREE stamp sets that are included in the NEW Flower Market cricut bundle!!! Check out these LOVELY, exclusive stamp sets!
I also wanted to incorporate something we learned at Convention. We were reminded again, that with ANY ribbon, sequin, button, etc....that is WHITE - it can be colored with our ShinHan alcohol markers!!!!
So here is the collection of the Enchantment Ribbon pack that I used on the card. I ADORE our new packs of ribbon!!! This pack consists of 4 rolls of ribbon, 1 roll of baker's twine and they all have 3 yds each. They coordinate with our NEW Enchantment Fundamentals & Complements.
Do you SEE the dotted ribbon in this pack?
Yup - you got it....I COLORED the BACKSIDE of my white dotted ribbon with the ShinHan alcohol markers. I used the "Barely Beige" & "Sap Green" to get a peach ribbon & a green dotted ribbon!!!
The striped ribbon (shown on the middle card above) is one of the "original" ribbons in the pack shown above.
The 4 new designs are BEAUTIFUL, and you can see 2 of the designs I used in these cards - the Chevron & Wood Slats.
Next, let's take a close up look of the acorns that were cut on with the NEW Flower Market Cricut Collection. Oh MY!!! Close To My Heart has done it AGAIN!!!!
It amazes me how they can CONTINUE to come out with AMAZING cartridges that include 700 designs on them!!! Wahoo!!! And if you think that this cartridge is just "flowers" as per it's name....you may want to rethink that opinion. :) CLICK HERE to see the shape index of the cuts on this cartridge - we are patiently awaiting Cricut to upload the new handbook for this Cricut collection. How did I use the "background stamps" ...do you see them? I stamped designs on my 2 acorns!! Another fabulous way to use background stamps!!
I hope you enjoyed these cards , and now it's time to "Hop" on over toDonna's Blogto see her amazing work! ---------------------------------------------------------------
