If you have arrived from my friend, Betty's blog you are right on track.

Today I wanted to share a very simple layout I created, using the Make Waves paper pack. Take a look!
(you can click on the photo to enlarge it. ;) )

This month, at Close To My Heart, we are also having a FABULOUS sale on all of our metal die cuts we call "Thin Cuts".  Our "Thin Cuts" are 25-30% off - check with your consultant about this sale - or CLICK HERE to check them out!

Let's take a few close up shots of this layout....

The stamp set used for this layout, is one that is on SALE this month....it is called Make Waves Cardmaking.  What an ADORABLE stamp set & to have matching Thin Cuts to match.....eeekkk....a crafter's dream! :)

You may have noticed the shine of our Silver Foil paper too - so pretty!!

The Bashful Shimmer brush was the perfect touch to color in the heart this octopus is holding. :)

I also used the "Splash of Color" stamp set to stamp some subtle background images with my Bashful ink pad.

Next, let's take a look at the next close up image...

I used the "Shells & Stars" mini stamp set (it's ONLY $2.95!) and you can see some spots of shimmer....I used the clear shimmer brush to color in a few parts of the shells.  What FUN! :)

My FAVORITE part about this layout....is the BORDER I stamped at the top of the page. :)  Does anyone have a guess at where this border stamp set comes from??

It is a stamp set that is "hidden" in a sense...it can be found under our "International" stamp section & was originally created for our Australasia CTMH consultants.

There are so many BEAUTIFUL borders....you can CLICK HERE to head to another post, to see how I used the scroll border in this stamp set. :)

That's all for today....thanks for stopping by, and I hope you were inspired to go CREATE something on your own! :)

  1. Love the layout. I really like how you used the Splash of Color stamp set on the background - it adds depth and dimension. I never noticed the border stamp set - I thought it was a zip strip.
