"Heart Happy" Special Blog Hop with CTMH

This month we have  Close To My Heart Consultants that will be sharing items they created using these FABULOUS new products.   This hop is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Wahoo!!

The Heart Happy paper is BEAUTIFUL....and it makes me smile when I look at it!  It's one of those "cheerful" papers, and makes you want to create something with it right away!  

Today, I chose to create a card & I also used one of my favorite NEW stamp sets this season....take a look...

Take a look at the BEAUTIFUL colors of our "Heart Happy" collection!!

The banner paper - is a part of the Happy Heart paper collection!!  This paper has 2 different corners with the banners apart of  it...so off one corner came, to be the background for this card design! :) 

I choose to use our largest Stitched Heart Thin Cut (metal die) AND our coordinating Basic Shape Heart Thin Cut, as the focal point of the card....  

The stamp set that I used, comes from a very EXCLUSIVE stamp set!! 

Did you know we, at CTMH, have HOSTESS ONLY special stamps???

YES....we do!!!  This catalog, we have FIVE EXCLUSIVE stamps available for ONLY our hostesses!  What a fabulous perk!! 

I used the "Bible Verses" stamp set, for my card today. 

You can see the words that I stamped, and take notice of the mint green set of arrows I stamped to the left side of the heart too!

Today, we are going to take a look at one of our beautiful NEW cardmaking kits!  Do you know how FABULOUS our Workshop Your Way (WYW) kits are at Close To My Heart??

Allow me to introduce the "WYW Lucky Friendship Cardmaking Kit" 

Each month, I host a Cardmaking Class using a WYW kit....and, I try and put my own "spin" to the card designs of each kit.  

Here are the two card designs created & designed by CTMH...they are so pretty!

Today, I will be sharing my one "extra" design I created, using the SAME cut pieces from this kit.

Can you tell which card design I used of CTMH's, to create this card??

I chose to add ONE more CTMH product to create this card....the "Butterfly Friendship" stamp/thin cut bundle.  I ADORE this new set!!

As you can see...there are 3 metal dies to cut out these beautiful butterfly images! 
PLUS....you can "color in" your butterflies, with the matching inside stamp set!

  

For my butterfly, I used Lagoon ink, and stamped the inside by using the stamp set! I'm hoping you can also see the "glitter shine" that the butterfly has.  
This was created by using our CLEAR shimmer pen. 

Here are the two card designs together, that I created from this WYW cardmaking kit.

The card on the Left is the Original, created by CTMH art department.....
The card on the right, is "my design"....using the SAME cut pieces, but just turning the card a different way & adding a new stamp image! 

If you enjoy Creating & having the ideas already created for you....I highly suggest you give one of CTMH's WYW kits a try!!  They are always beautiful cards (and we have WYW kits for scrapbook pages too!) & you can even change things around a bit if their design isn't quite like you like.
