This month we have Close To My Heart Consultants sharing items they created using these FABULOUS new products. This hop is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Wahoo!!
Here we go!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are many items retiring this from Close To My Heart and today we'll be focusing on MANY Techniques using these products!
Here is a look at the card I created for today's hop. ๐
My first thought when I was creating this card, was that I wanted to use Liquid Glass as an accent SOMEWHERE on my card, ๐ so let's start with that today!
1. Liquid Glass--did you know you can use this product as glue AND/OR embellishment?๐ฎ๐ก
Take a look at this paper from our Isabella paper suite.
I took this full sheet of paper and cut out the squares I needed.
Then...Liquid Glass to the rescue! ๐ I added Liquid Glass to different parts of each Square, creating my own embellishment!
Can you see the shine and "glass like look"
What an easy and pretty accent, whether you use it on designer paper or on a stamped image!๐ฅฐ
2. Splattering with Shimmer Brush
To create a light splattering of splatters....take another object (like a pen) and tap that pen on the end of the shimmer brush, while holding it over the item you'd like splattered! ๐คฉ Have fun practicing on some scrap paper first...and then add splatters to your Artwork WHEREVER you'd like! ๐
3. Tone on Tone stamping
It seems I forget to do this EASY way of adding colors to my stamped images๐ฌ. I cut out my Thin Cut (metal die) shapes from the Doodled Florals stamp & Thin Cut collection.
By cutting out the shapes in colored cardstock, and stamping with coordinating ink color, you create a completed look!
Colors used --- Lemonade Cardstock --> Sundance ink
Bluebird Cardstock & ink
Sage Cardstock & ink
4.Dry Embossing
The last item I'll share today...oh how I ADORE how "much" detail comes when using our 5x7 Embossing Folder!.
I LOVE our 5x7 size embossing folders!! Not only do they completely cover a card front, BUT ....they also have a 4 inch slit in the middle of the folder, that you can slide your 12" strip of paper through, and emboss a LONGER piece of paper!!
This folder design is called Spring Blossom & it's one of FOUR designs that will be retiring on August 31st.
I hope you enjoyed this card & were INSPIRED today!!
Here's a list of "ingredients" I used to create this fun card in case you'd like to recreate it on your own!
