If you have arrived from Betty's blog you are right on track.

Here are the cards I'm sharing today!

Close To My Heart has some FABULOUS Workshop kits--and this Jingle Joy Cardmaking Kit is no exception!

I LOVE the kits they create, and I also enjoy doing a little "Krista's Crafty" tweak to each of the kits, by using their SAME card designs...but pulling in another stamp set of my choice. ;)

First ---let's take a look at what comes in the Jingle Joy cardmaking kit & then we'll take a closer look at my cards.

This kit can be found on your consultant's CTMH website--- I ADORE the Exclusive Stamp set & thin cut bundle that is included in this kit!

Take note that THIS particular kit ---INCLUDES a bottle of Silver Stickles too!!

Here are the Card designs that CTMH created using this Jingle Joy collection!

Look how BEAUTIFUL they are!

We ALWAYS learn a technique in our Cardmaking kits & this time, we learned about using the Distress Oxide inks, as well as using the Stickles!

Today, I'm just focusing on the Design of card #2 today. ( I'll be sharing my other card designs over on my Business FB page & my IG accounts. )

Let's take a look at the 3 cards I created using the SAME Card #2 design.

You can see the original card design in the top right of the photo above.

For my other two cards, I took the SAME cuts of papers, and rearranged or even "trimmed down" some of the pieces to create TWO totally NEW cards!

I also added in a stamp set of my choice --more details on that set below.

Here are the inks & the Light Green Tri-Blend marker I used to complete "my version" of my cards.

I've been having SO MUCH FUN "playing" with the distress oxide inks & I loved that we used them to STAMP with on these cards too!! These inks really DO give a vibrant, bright color when stamped!!

I LOVED adding extra Stickles to my cards--- notice how you can use those Stickles for a thin "ribbon" on this card here!

---OR ---

why not use it to add "sparkle & shine" to the large amount of gifts---how fun!

Here's a look at the ADORABLE "the Jubilee Crew" stamp/thin cut set that I used to create my extra cards.

These SNOWPEOPLE just "grabbed" me the minute I saw them! So cute!!

Here's a "bonus card" showcasing my favorite images on this stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed my creation & were inspired to create something of your own.

Happy Crafting & have a LOVELY evening!!!

If you have arrived from Joyce Gough's blog you are right on track.

Here we are in October already, and guess what??  I had my first Christmas Cardmaking class the last Saturday in September!

So...today, we'll take a look at a Christmas card that I created - WITHOUT using any Christmas stamp sets! :)

Here is my Christmas Joy card.... :)
(click on the photo to enlarge it)

This card was is fairly simple to create, but oh what FUN, to create it using all NON-Christmas stamp sets!

I did use one of our NEW Christmas papers....this is our "Tis the Season" paper collection...

But I also used 2 new stamp sets to create this card design.  The first stamp is called "Boutique cardmaking" stamp....take a look...
The 2nd stamp set used was the "Boutique - Scrapbooking" stamp set.  Check out the photo to see these beautiful stamp images. :)

Let's take a close up look at the card....You'll notice that I used the word "joy" from the one set..and then used the heart & the wreath leaves from the 2nd stamp set.

Bitty Sparkles around the wreath add a bit of sparkle to the card.

To create the wreath - I used New England Ivy ink, and stamped the "swag" of leaves...and kept stamping with out reinking the image.  Take a look at the photo - and you'll notice there are 2 colors of ink (although I really just "stamped off" to get the lighter shade!  It's all from the New England Ivy ink pad!)

One of my FAVORITE new products, is our Metal die cuts we call "Thin Cuts".. We now have a "Decorated Borders" thin cut bundle!!

This set is LOADED with stitches, cuts & you can see the die set in the photo below! :)

Now, take a look at this next photo....can you see the 2 Thin Cut metal dies that I used on the White Daisy cardstock?? :)

Yes - you got it!!  I used the double stitched imprint...and the small scallop border!!
I can't WAIT to use these dies even more...there are so many possibilities!!

The strip of strips behind sentiment...came from one of our ZIP Strips! :)
That's all for today....thanks for stopping by, and I hope you were inspired to go CREATE something on your own! :)

Have you created projects with our wonderful, GOLD FOIL paper? If not, you'll want to give it a try!

LOOK at the main background of this card, & how rose embossing folder - cropped 196e0c3f-e3a4-4ff7-8ac5-2918d574a0a3BEAUTIFUL it embossed, when I used our ROSE 5x7 embossing folder on this Gold Foil!  I ran the foil through my Cuttlebug machine!, to acheive this beautiful result. (You can use any embossing machine - big shot, ebosser, etc)
foil 2 NEW

black shimmer ribbon d026c2f4-b286-4c62-af63-aeef920cd8ddThen I added the black shimmer ribbon to the gold foil paper before I glued it down to my white card base. Black matting to the words, made it "jump" out at you as you looked at it & 2 black dots in the bottom right corner (from our Black & White enamel dots collection).
