As I was planning on what I wanted to create today, I decided to stick with a very simple set of cards.  :)  

I LOVE Close To My Heart's amazing specials - and wanted you to see how BEAUTIFUL & EASY it was to purchase this cardmaking kit & maybe add a few things you have in your craft room for the look you like.  

Take a look....     

The card on the left, was created with things that are included in the kit. 

The middle card, I added some watercolor paints to the circle prior to stamping the image.

The right card - I pulled out my ShinHan alcohol markers to add some color, I added a 2" circle mat of Lagoon cardstock & then used 3D foam tape to "pop" up the circle. 

What a fun set, of ADORABLE little cards!!! 

You'll ALSO want to keep in mind...that it takes just ONE more stamp to create a matching envelope! :) 

  

TIP: if you choose to color the flowers on the envelope with alcohol markers, cut a 3x3 "scrap" piece of paper to tuck inside so that the ink doesn't run through to the back of your envelope! :)  I was so thankful when I learned that tip!

I wasn't sure I wanted to include this next card...I'm not sure I like the design of  it :) ...BUT...

I DO like the fact that CTMH carries this WREATH stamp set that fits perfectly around the included circles!! :) I'd LOVE to see how you use this wreath stamp set with this cardmaking kit. :)

Hello Life - NSM Blog Hop

Here are a few cards I created for today's hop....

I ADORE all 3 of these sets - and it was hard to use just one...so I ended up using all 3 sets!! J 

I used the NEW Georgie paper pack....and I created a "traditional" baby card with this paper (because it's baby paper J  ) 

.....HOWEVER....

it's really not baby paper - LOL- so off I went to create another simple, adorable card that was a Birthday one!!!

Take a look at the stamp sets below...and see how I pulled the script "happy" word from one set...and then the word "birthday" from the other set!!  These 3 stamp sets mix & match so WELL together!!   

In the birthday card, I dry embossed a few pieces using the chevron & new confetti embossing folders.  Then I pulled out my spray pen & gave it a few squirts with a whisper ink & water mixture. 

Just a few of the NEW grey enamels to top it off, a little bit of white shimmer trim and ta-da....2 cards created!!
