I LOVE the new Sparkle & Shine paper pack, and KNEW I was going to use this paper for this Blog Hop! J 

Here is the 2 page Christmas layout I created …

I used the Make It From Your Heart, volume 2 how-to booklet, pattern #6 as a guide to put this layout together with ease.  This handy-dandy little how-to booklet is the PERFECT solution to quick, beautiful layouts and cards…and it’s only $7.95!!  Love this bargain!!

The coordinating Sparkle & Shine My Complements are the PERFECT match with these papers! 

You receive (2) 6x12 sheets of colored chipboard images, ready to punch out and use on your creations…the BEST part- they are ONLY $4.95!!!
 





Here you can see how I used these complements on the title side of my layout.


I also used some MORE new items that are debuting in the Holiday Gift Guide…J



Washi Tape…we have 6 NEW rolls…WoooHoooo! 


I used the Juniper 1” wide washi tape on the bottom of my layout, and then layered the pennant Complement over top of it.

I also used the red chevron washi tape…I LOVE how you can use Washi tape to create banners!!! Take a look at the close up picture…

***Important notice~ each roll of washi tape, comes in a roll of 15 yards…the Holiday Gift guide has a misprint saying the roll is only 5 yds! J

Take a look at these GORGEOUS trees!


I LOVE the colors in Sparkle & Shine kit…Ruby, Slate & Juniper!!  Did you notice the sparkles I placed around the outside of the trees?


I used another FUN & FABULOUS new product called Sparkle Shapes! They are made to coordinate with our new Trim the Tree stamp set, but I chose to use them on my trees instead.  I just trimmed them up a bit to make a perfect fit for my larger trees!!

I had completed the layout, and liked it…but didn’t REALLY like it - do you know what I mean? J 
I knew it needed something else, maybe along the outside edge of the page…why not try my hand at stitching!! 



I pulled out our Ruby Mini-Medley collection and started to separate the strands.  You can’t see it very well, but there is a silver strand in these threads…it looks so much better in person!

We're excited to share our creativity with you using our favorite Close To My Heart products!

Today I’d like to share with you a card I created using the Frosted paper pack. 

I LOVE this kit, and was excited to see how this card turned out as I pulled the color Blush into the stamping portion. 



Take a look at my card!J

I used the slate dotted washi tape in the middle of my card, and used a zip strip and some blush cardstock to create my banners.

I used the NEW Artbooking Cricut cartridge (exclusively from CTMH) for the frame on this card…this stamp set is ONLY available through our Artbooking cartridge BUNDLE!! J

 I LOVE the THREE stamp sets that are included in this Artbooking Bundle! 

Here is a close up...did you notice how I first stamped the words in Twilight ink, and then restamped them off center a bit, in the Blush ink to give a slight shadow. 

The words come from a FABULOUS stamp set (one of my favorite this Idea Book)...it comes from the Frosted Workshop on the Go CARD making kit. 

Here is a picture of this stamp set...it is SURE to be a favorite!!

To finish off the card design, I wanted to use the beautiful, coordinating Frosted Assortment.  Take a look…

I chose to use 2 of the flowers, and then added our small sparkle flourishes to give it a sparkling touch.

October Blog Hop - Christmas is Coming!!

Today we will be featuring October’s Stamp of the Month (SOTM), which is called “Scandinavian Wishes”, a set of  BEAUTIFUL stamps.

I LOVE this stamp set, and seeing it gets me “a little” excited for Christmas! J  Christmas really is closer than we think, isn’t it? J

It was FUN to put my mind into “Christmas mode” to create this card!

 

I used Pattern #23 from our NEW Make It From Your Heart, vol 2 for the starting design! 

Of course with this stamp set being Cricut Compatible to our Art Philosophy Cricut bundle…it made it even EASIER to create!!

I chose to use TWO of our paper packs to complete this card!  Did you find them?  I used Frosted & Proplayer paper packs! 

I never thought I could create items by combining CTMH paper packs - even though they are meant to be used that way too!  I just LOVE the colors & patterns that CTMH puts together, and haven’t tried (until in the last year or so) to combine the paper collection.  What amazing & fun results!

I also used one of my FAVORITE background stamp sets (I hope they never take this stamp set away! LOL!)

Here it is…Universal Backgrounds. 

You can use this background stamp set for so many creations!!  I KNOW if I would do a search on my blog - I would be AMAZED at how often I use this stamp set!  This is a must-have in everyone’s collection!!

Here is one final close up picture…showing you the bitty sparkles that I added to the ornaments.  To make the silver “string” at the top of the ornaments, I cut our Silver Shimmer Trim in thirds and made “string”!
