Balloon Animals - February Stamp of the Month

Are these guys ADORABLE or what?  J

What a cute stamp set, and I LOVE the word phrases that are included in this set!! J

Isn't he cute?  And it's such a simple card too! 

As I was brainstorming about creating this card, I knew I wanted to use the word phrases to be on my card in some way....so I headed to Pinterest to get my brainstorm going.J Here is the card that I was inspired by....and I'm excited how I was able to turn it into Close To My Heart style!!  

Here is a close up of this adorable balloon buddy...and yes, I did "fussy cut" him out. 

 I can't tell you how EASY it is to cut out shapes with our FABULOUS micro-tip scissors at CTMH!!  

I will FIND these scissors (and yes, I have more than one) to cut out stamped images, or I won't cut it out.JIf you don't have a pair of these FABULOUS scissor, you can check them out by clicking HERE.  We have them in a non-stick coating (yup, you can cut 3d foam tape apart & not get your scissors all gunky! $13.95) & the regular scissors ($9.95) . 

I used the ink colors below for the WORDING at the bottom of the card, as well as the different colors of confetti at the top of the card. 

Ink colors used were: Sorbet, Glacier, Honey, Sweet Leaf & Slate

Today I wanted to share a card I created using the "Share the Love" stamp set that's from Close To My Heart February 2016 special.

I used the soft colors of our Georgie paper pack to create this card.

Take a look at the camera...

Did you notice the "shiny" lens? Liquid glass helps to create a "lens" and give it a dimensional look! 

I also chose to use the stamp set called "Ink Blot".  This stamp set is a FAVORITE....and I LOVE the extra texture it brings to any creation!!

Let's take a look at this FUN LOVING stamp set - that's ONLY available this month...

Has your mind started churning as you looked at this stamp set???  So many creating possibilities!!!  

Well, I chose to create a card today - and I used NON-TRADITIONAL "love" colors to make it...check it out. 

I LOVE the soft colors of the Georgie paper collection from Close To My Heart, and that is what I chose to use today.  

This paper pack has 6 different designs to chose from, and can be used for SO much MORE than the baby theme! 

In addition to the "Share the Love" stamp set, you may have noticed my splotches of ink. J

I used the "ink blot" stamp set.  I must encourage you to add this stamp set to your collection!! J It's one of those go-to stamp sets that is something you can always pull out to use and it never goes out of style. 

Here's a close up shot....

I used a lot of our 3D foam tape to create dimension, and my handy exacto knife helped me to "fussy cut" the telephone out to mount on top of the Artiste Cricut cut heart. I used two of the flamingo dots as a finishing touch.

Ink colors used: Whisper, Juniper & Pixie
