What a FUN birthday I had the first week of October~~and I'm finally getting a chance to post about it!
I wanted to share the two hand created cards I received in the MAIL from two fellow team mates! J Wahoo!!!

I LOVE getting mail…and to find these two cards in my mailbox, made my day!!

The first card, was from my “sister” in the Close To My Heart family…Crystal Davis.  Even though we don’t get to see each other often, we always have FUN when we get together!  Check out Crystals BLOG and see what a talented crafter she is!

Here is the card she made with our NEW Clementine paper pack…oh, how I LOVE this paper pack!!!

I LOVE the cluster of embellishments she created on the card!!  Let’s take a closer look…

She used the Clementine Complements Canvas Shapes (2-6”x12” sheets for only $5.95!!)  The texture of the canvas adds so much to any item you create!  Crystal also used Mocha pearl gems, and a stick pin from the Autumn Lane Assortment set~~check out the other items that come in this assortment – LOVE!  Thank you, thank you Crystal!!!

My other card, arrived from a dear friend of mine…used to be customer, now a part of my team! J  Thank you Elsie Stauffer for remembering my birthday J  AND sending me a beautiful card!!!

Here is Elsie’s card…

Imagine my delight when I opened the envelope and realized she also used Clementine paper pack! Yay!!!

By using an edge distresser, Elsie “roughed up the edges” to give it that distressed look!  Take a closer look to the center part of the card…

She also chose to use a Canvas Shape from the Clementine Complements AND she used clear sparkles to give it an extra shine. J
I LOVE the card Elsie!!! Thank you!!!

I also must share a bit about a surprise that I had this past Wednesday night. J

Have you ever started singing along with everyone as they are singing “Happy Birthday” to someone...only to realize they are now walking towards you? J  Well, this is what happened to me!!

We had youth group Wednesday, and had just split into our separate guy/girl groups for our prayer and sharing time.  The girls started singing Happy Birthday, and all I could think was – Whose birthday did I forget about?  But soon realized my dear youth girls were singing happy birthday to me!!

Here are the cards that they gave me, and I’ll talk about that little brown box in a moment. J I did get a beautiful yellow mum and forgot to include that in this picture!!!  The yellow mum was a PERFECT addition to our pumpkins and corn shocks on our front porch!

So – the little brown box, was FILLED with a treasure!!! These gals introduced me to a WONDERFUL cupcake (that I had never heard of) that came from Sublime Cupcakes a local store in Lititz, PA!  I also found out the Sublime Cupcakes ALSO has a store in Reading, PA too!!!

This moist, chocolate cupcake was AMAZING in taste!  The icing (and I’m not usually an icing person) was phenomenal!!  Absolutely wonderful!!

Thank you youth girls for making it a special night for me!!  It is something I will treasure always and I am so thankful for EACH and EVERY one of you!!  Hugs!!!

Also a HUGE “THANK YOU” to those of you that wished me a Facebook  Happy Birthday too!!!  I enjoyed reading the birthday wishes AND I was excited to see comments from those of you that I don't get to see on a weekly or monthly basis!!! Thank you, thank you to each of you!!

Blessings to EACH of you and may you all have a wonderful day!!!
