As I thought about what I wanted to share with you today…..I realized I had created a 2 page layout a few months ago & never share it here on my blog!!
So – let’s take a look at this layout….
Sorry for the glare of the protectors, but there is a reason behind this.
This was the 2 page make n take that I had at this past year’s Winter Retreat for those that chose to create it. I offered it at my cost, and then taught the many different aspects of how we made this layout.
We used the retiring paper pack called Wanderful….a GREAT paper pack to use for many different occasions!
My teammate, Stephanie Huber, gave me this FUN idea – and so I tried it out on my own!! See the 4x6 photo at the top of this page with my precious family….this WAS a 6x6 flip flap – CUT DOWN to create a 4x6 flip flap!!
That’s true, they do (& they are FABULOUS)…..HOWEVER – right now we only have 4x6 flip flaps that have adhesive on the side of the pocket…not a top hinge.
>>>>>>>>SO….by cutting off the bottom of our 6x6 flip flap, and adhering PRETTY gold dotted washi tape to seal it….we THEN have an adhesive strip on the TOP of our flip flap vs. the side adhesive…make sense??? We can now flip UP our flip flap – instead of flip out.J
Take a look at the cluster of goodies on the right page….
There were 2 stamp sets used here…the Paper Wishes stamp set
and the Documenting Moments stamp set.
This stamp set is becoming a FAST FAVORITE!!! Feel free to go back and check out the picture of the layout…..I used MANY of these stamped images in a LOT of different ways!! FUN!!! J
I also LOVE to use our Base & Bling charms on my projects!! These little guys, in this case an owl, add just a fun touch to the page.
Next – DID YOU NOTICE….all the washi tape I used all OVER this layout???
EVERYWHERE you see the striped pink lines AND the gold polka dots – they aren’t paper>>>>>>>they are Washi tape!!!!
I will miss this washi as it is leaving us by the end of this month…but even if it’s not in our NEW, upcoming 2015 Annual Inspirations, I know I will keep using this FABULOUS accent tape!!
