If you have arrived from Tracey's blog you are right on track.

Today I wanted to share a FUN creation I created with Close To My Heart's Flower Market Cricut Cartridge.

I held my annual Winter Scrapbooking Retreat last weekend & I try and do something "special" for my ladies, each year.  This year, I decided to make this FUN succulent flower pot for each guest as their Name Tag. :)  Take a look!

What FUN it was to create these, and how easy too...although creating 45 of them did take me a little bit of time ;)

Here is the DESIGN SPACE file for those of you that would like to create some of these easy-to-keep-alive succulents of your own. https://us.cricut.com/design/#/canvas/57068399

I created the flowers first, cutting them out in Juniper Cardstock, and then inking all the edges with Pansy Purple ink.
There were 5 different shapes that needed to be glued together to create the succulent.  LIQUID GLASS was my hero, and worked beautifully to hold these together!

I purchased the flower pots at the dollar tree - they had a variety of sizes - and the stick to hold my "hello" Cricut shape was just a bamboo skewer.
The gold gems are a retired item from Close To My Heart, and I used our black journaling pen to personalize each one.

Once all the flowers were created...I took everything out to our garage to assemble everything together. The Spanish Moss was a great touch, but if you've worked with this before, you KNOW how messy it can be! :)

Here's a look at my "workspace" (freezer top ;) ) out in our garage.  It worked REALLY well....and yes, the metal ruler WAS my knife to cut my foam blocks - LOL!

I used the hot glue to glue the foam to bottom of pot, to glue the Spanish moss onto the top of the foam...and then finished it off by gluing the succulent on top of the Spanish Moss! :)  It worked better than I even thought it would! :) :)

I ADORE the Flower Market Cricut cartridge & haven't used it NEAR enough, since it's August 1st release! :) While this cartridge can be used for 3D items...there are TONS of shapes, titles, etc that can be used for non-flower items too!!
Make sure to check out the HANDBOOK of all 700 images on this amazing cartridge (CLICK HERE) ....and contact your Consultant today on how you can receive your own copy of this MAGNIFICENT cartridge, that can be found ONLY at Close To My Heart! :)

If you haven't seen the goodies from Close To My Heart in the Seasonal Expression 1 mini-book...make sure to touch base with your CTMH consultant, or feel free to CLICK HERE.

This "mini-book" is ONLY current until April 30, 2017!! SO...if you have anything on your wish list from this book - you'll want to make sure to get those goodies before they are gone forever! :)

That's all for today....thanks for stopping by, and I hope you were inspired to ready to go CREATE something on your own!
