Joyful Stars Blog Hop–Beyond Awesome

I just received a NEW stamp set the other day….so that is what I chose to use in today’s project.

Here are the 2 cards I created….

I was inspired by fellow consultant Michelle Snyder, and also used the Make It From Your Heart, vol 2 how-to-book for one of the patterns...LOVE these "little" helpers!

The new stamp set I used is called “Beyond Awesome”. Have you noticed this stamp set in the new SE2 mini-book? What a FUN set – and so many ways to use it!! Take a look at the variety of sayings!!

I used 2 paper packs today….can you figure out which two they are? You got it…..Calypso & La Vie En Rose! Fun!! J

I wanted to create BRIGHT, Happy cards, and I love the colors of black, lagoon, cotton candy & pear combined together.

By adding some of our white Shimmer Trim, Calypso Sequins & Flamingo Dots….we had a finished card.

Here’s a close up of the 2nd card….

I decided "last minute" to use our NEW Waterbrush & color some lagoon ink inside the word Awesome. LOVE these new waterbrushes!!

Tickled Pink flamingo 1 page layout

What a GREAT time we had this week, as I hosted an ALL DAY crop & showcased the NEW Seasonal Expression 2 mini-book, and all the fabulous items.

Here’s a look at a few of the NEW goodies from CTMH….

THREE new paper packs (Florence, Magical & Calypso), dozens of stamp sets, 4 sets of NEW “Thin Cuts”, 2 NEW “Cut Above” card kits (with foil images!), 3 waterbrushes, many NEW embellishments….and the list goes on! Smile

It was a rainy day, so it was nice we could be inside & craft away! Smile

As part of my “thank you” for joining me this day, I had a FREE “Make n Take” that could be created anytime throughout the day. What fun!!

If you hadn’t noticed, I went with the flamingo/paradise theme Smile

….so in keeping that theme we HAD to use some NEW Flamingo products from CTMH!!

Here is the layout we created…

Of course, everyone’s layout was a bit different - depending on what side of the paper they used, or if they chose to use another 4x3 PML card in place of the yellow striped one shown in this photo….THAT is the FUN in creating your own items!!
