2019 Fall Papercrafting Weekend Getaway with Krista's Crafty

Hello to each one of you!!

I'm so excited, as my Fall Retreat is QUICKLY approaching!! We are only about 5 weeks away!
I have a few more spots open...and would love to have you join in the FUN!!

I love to spoil my Papercrafting friends at this weekend away & love to pamper & give my customers a weekend they can enjoy & get some creating accomplished! :)

I do ask that this retreat remain for my customers, as I have a separate retreat weekend for my CTMH team & fellow consultants in Feb each year. :) Ask me for more details!

When planning my retreats, I always give FIRST opportunity to those that attended the previous year - after that (if there is still room), I open it up to everyone else! This retreat is now open for YOU to join us, and it's available on a first come, first serve basis!

In order to reserve your spot - I need to receive your filled out registration form & non-refundable deposit and my receiving this - will HOLD your spot! :)

I'm looking forward to our time together & I'm SO EXCITED that it's working out to host this Fall Retreat on top of my regular March Retreat weekends...2 weekends of papercrafting in one year...wahoo!! :)

Lodging Options for the fall retreat, you have 2 choices...the Beechwood Motel Rooms OR the Log Cabins.

We have the LOVELY option of staying in these beautiful Motel room- linens are ALL provided!

The inside of these rooms are BEAUTIFUL - take a look!
There are ONLY 5 more rooms available...first COME, first serve! :) Share a room with a friend or 2 to save on some cost, or enjoy a room all by yourself!!

These Cabins are another lodging option too! They are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE....bottom bunks will be filled...and because we are the ONLY group there this weekend, we won't have to use any of the top bunks!! Yay!!

Each cabin has their own bathrooms & showers inside, and hold 8 people. (without using top bunks)
There are 2 cabins available PLUS the beautiful motel rooms for our lodging this weekend....again, lodging will be first come, first serve.

**There will also be a DAY ONLY option (no overnight). This means you would go home to sleep, and everything else is included in the cost. :)

We will be using the spacious Chestnut Meeting Room, which is directly located under the "motel" style rooms in the Beechwood building. :) A great convenience for those of you lodging there! :)

Meals will be FRIDAY Breakfast & Dinner and SATURDAY Breakfast & Lunch.
- With the amount of snacks we received from Tel Hai, we do just 2 meals on each day. We need the MOST time we can to scrap and create! :) (Yes - this is a picture of the type of snacks Tel Hai blesses us with!)
- This means we’ll be on our own for supper Thursday night & lunch on Friday.
- ALSO - Tel Hai gives us a veggie tray at 8pm on Thursday night & Friday night...so we have a GREAT, healthy treat in the evening too! :)
- We get AMAZING food at Tel Hai, made by the their wonderful chef - Rusty. Here is what a typical breakfast looks like served at our weekend. The food was FABULOUS! :)

I plan to run my retreat very similar to my Spring Retreat. Here is just a glimpse of some of the goodies you can expect in our time together, in case you haven't attended before. :)

All weekend long, we will be earning TICKETS for these fabulous door prizes! :)

At the end of our weekend together, we'll have door prize winners of all these GREAT prizes & we'll also have A GRAND prize winner too!!

Last Fall, Suzy won an album, pages & a WYW Scrapbooking Kit as our GRAND PRIZE! :)

There will be an optional 2 page Scrapbooking Workshop Class for you to participate in if you choose. (there is a small fee to cover my basic cost).

AND...we can't forget about the fun GAMES we play throughout the weekend...

My hope is to be able to get Tara back with us again (as Lynae is not available)

....and we can't break tradition!!

I'm sure there may be a few visits from our midnight "Scrapbook Fairy"! :)
It is a FUN-FILLED weekend for sure, and I can't WAIT to see you all there! :)

Seaside Blog Hop

This month we have Close To My Heart Consultants sharing items they created using these FABULOUS new products. This hop is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Wahoo!!

Who remembers the Seaside paper suite that came out in Summer of 2015???

Close To My Heart has brought this pack BACK...but with a little revamping of the colors to coordinate with our current colors. AND.....there may even be a "Sneak Peek" of a new color to come on Sept 1st!! (new color....French Vanilla)

I ADORE when CTMH have these monthly specials, because it USUALLY means they have a workshop kit created for us too!!

Let's take a look at the workshop projects that CTMH designed to use with this collection....

The workshop kit has products to create...
(2) 1 page layouts......(1) 2 page layout....(3) 3x3 cards & (3) 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cards!
Aren't they BEAUTIFUL???

I LOVE this paper...and wanted to create a 2nd layout to Project 2 (top right corner) that CTMH made...so....I used my "leftover" scraps & made a few cutting changes in my kit to create that page for another 2 page layout design!!

Here is CTMH's single page layout.....

and here is how I took that 1 page...and made a 2nd page to turn it into a 2 page layout!

This "sea scene" paper is so beautiful! I wanted to carry that paper over to the 2nd page. It's very simple...but I was excited to get it to be 2 pages!

For this extra page....I added one extra sheet of French Vanilla 12x12 paper for the base & a 4 1/4 x 6 1/4 Smoothie photo mat on the right page too. All the other pieces were cut from papers that were included in the kit.

The White & Bronze twine that comes included in the workshop kit is perfect for this collection. I adore the subtle "touch" the banners give this layout.

Take a closer look...and you can see the clouds that I stamped with Glacier ink too!

Another NEW ADDITION that is added to this NEW 6 paper pack is.....a 12x12 Sticker Sheet!! Eeekkkk!!! I'm so excited!!

The anchor & stars, are STICKERS that come from that sheet! :)

Let's take a look at the Seaside paper pack....and that 12x12 Sticker sheet!!

Here is a close up look at the stamped sailboat.

The sailboat was stamped in Toffee ink...and again, you can see the clouds stamped here too. This was a favorite stamp set of mine "back in the day" ....and I'm excited that this stamp set, Seaside Greetings, is back for a limited time too!! :)
