I really enjoy WORD stamps...and I can't WAIT to see what my other consultant friends created with this stamp set! :)    

Today, I chose to create this card design using this stamp set.
Let's check it out!   

I found today's card design...in our Make It From Your Heart (MIFYH), vol 4 --- pattern #13. I love how QUICK & EASY my card creating becomes, when I have a basic design to work with! 
(this photo below, shows our MIFYH vol 3 - for scrapbooking pages) 

I used a "soon-to-be-gone" paper pack that is on Special this month, named "Seaside".  Make sure you contact your consultant & get all of the paper before it's gone on August 31st! :) 

Does anyone remember this paper pack from 2014??  I'm so thankful it's back for this limited time!!  

Let's take a look at some of the details of this card. 

 
Look at that tiny heart! :)  I stamped it in Smoothie ink...on top of the light side of our smoothie cardstock & then trimmed it out with my micro tip scissors. :) 

I wanted to use a LOT of stamp images on this card....so to accomplish that goal, I stamped the banner "background" with some of these FABULOUS images!!  

What better way to encourage a friend than with words like...

You're Amazing
Yay
Love It!
Whoa!
and You Got This
We ALL love to hear these words...especially when we are working hard to accomplish something that we may have only dreamed about! ;)   

In this photo...you can see the BEAUTIFUL, Gold Flecked gems & the burlap ribbon. These items will be leaving us on August 31st OR while supplies last! 

You also might see the Toffee sponged edges on the banner shape.  I adore that sponging the edges is making a comeback in the papercrafting world!!

What a perfect stamp set, as we will be beginning school shortly!!  

While this stamp set may lend itself to scrapbook pages, of course...I HAD to try and create a card! It was accomplished!!  

Take a look at the CARD I ended up creating with this "scrapbooking" stamp set! :) (I hope a lot of other friends chose to create cards too!) 

This fun, card came to "life" as I looked at our How-To-Books sketches.  This pattern began from pattern #24, Make It From Your Heart, volume 2....however, I didn't really end up looking like that pattern at all! LOL! :) 

I choose to use CTMH's Jack paper collection to create with this card.   
This entire collection will be retiring at the end of this month on August 31, 2017 on a While Supplies Last basis!

Let's talk a few more details about this card....

I decided to white emboss the words, to make it look like chalk...so out came my Heat tool & I heat embossed those "first day of school" words, on top of the Juniper cardstock! :) 

I also wanted to use a few NEW products, that were just released today!!  

Can you find these new products???  

The set of scallops on the left side of the card, were cut using our NEW scallop Border THIN CUTS!! (yup, that's the name for our metal dies ;) ) 

I also pulled out my Cuttlebug machine, and used our NEW 5x7 Alphabet embossing folder!!  Wahoo!!

Merry Christmas in August–Framed SOTM....Christmas Cardmaking Day

Since Seaside paper pack is one of my FAVORITE collections – it’s no surprise I used it (again) on this Christmas card that I’m sharing with you today. J

Yes – it’s true – you can turn almost ANY paper pack into ANY OCCASION that you need it for!!!  It really is all about the additional colors & embellishments that turn it into a “theme”!! FUN!!!

Here’s my “August Christmas Card” I wanted to share with you!!

So – did you notice anything familiar? J

If you follow my blog, pinterest or my facebook page – you’ll probably notice that you’ve seen the sentiment before, and recently too.

I used the AUGUST Stamp Of The Month (SOTM) stamp set to create this card!!!!

 

YES – this stamp set is ONLY available in August….that’s it!!  Even as a Consultant I can’t get this stamp set at a future date!!!

Better yet – you can get it at a DISCOUNT!!!!

Let’s take a closer look at this card….

You’ll also see I used the BEAUTIFUL Paper Fundamentals (glacier & desert sand).  While this product line is NOT going away on September 1st – these beautiful PATTERNS on the fundamentals will be leaving us & changing to new designs!!! 

I adore the touch the Red Shimmer Trim brings to the left side of the card. 

And take note- the red/white/silver baker’s twine will be retiring at the end of this month.  It is a BEAUTIFUL mini-medley embellishment pack that includes this string, clothespins, buttons, poinsettia flower, and more!!

This beautiful Cricut cut holly, comes from our NEW Artistry Cricut Collection!!!  

AND…the August SOTM stamp set shapes are ALSO included in this new cartridge.  It’s a cartridge you’ll use over & over again – with 700 images…it’s TOP of the line!!

How did I get the red berries???

You’re right – we DON’T carry red sparkles….hmmmm….  J 

***TIP of the DAY***** did YOU KNOW….that you can use your ShinHan alcohol markers and add color to any sparkle, sequin, button, etc…..Alcohol markers are the PERFECT way to make your embellishments whatever color you need it to be!!!
