I created this card below using BOTH May specials!!

(ONLY $10 with a $50 order - retail value of $29.90!) 

This was quite an easy card to create…and what made it even easier… the card pattern comes from a how-to-book, Make It From Your Heart, vol 2 - pattern 23.

I wanted to use my Spray Pen to fill in the background, so I filled up my pen with 6 lines of Bamboo re-inker & 5 lines of water.  I screwed the spritzer on the tube…and then had some FUN!!

I sprayed my card base, prior to attaching any pieces, and love the extra texture this spray design gives to this card. 

Did you notice the pattern on the cardstock that mats the wording? Both solid cardstocks have a different pattern on them. The cardstock included in this paper pack is BEAUTIFUL!!!

To get the edged looked around my wording, I just “swiped” the cardstock in my Bamboo ink.  A fast & easy way to add some color to my edges!! 

To complete this card, I added some embellishments to add that extra sparkle & shine!!

ALL paper packs ARE retiring July 31, 2014!

Here we are in the middle of May…and while July may seem far away, it’s only 2 months away! 

For myself, I like to plan ahead, and create a list of how much I can get each month of products that I like & know I will use. J  That way I can keep to my budget & still get the products I love!

****I wanted to make sure to spread the word so YOU could plan your upcoming month’s too!****

 ALL of CTMH’s current paper packs are retiring July 31st, OR while supplies last!! 

Let’s take a look at the paper packs that are retiring in July.  

Here are the 1st set of 7 paper packs that were released on Feb 1st of this year. 

AND…we also have 4 paper packs that moved forward from the last Idea Book that are retiring too!!

That’s a TOTAL of 11 paper packs that will be retiring!! 

While it is “sad” in a small way…I’m REALLY excited about the new paper coming our way! J  (stay tuned to a upcoming blog post for a sneak peek at 1 of those papers!)

I LOVE the vibrant, bright colors of this BEAUTIFUL Free To Be Me paper pack!  What FUN!!

I used CTMH’s how-to-book, Make It From Your Heart, vol2, pattern #5 to create this 2 page layout.

I pulled out a spray pen, mixed bamboo re-inker(5 lines) & water (4 lines) to create a spray mixture and misted the background.  Then I used this beautiful paper to complete the sketch!

This paper pack includes TWO sheets of vellum!!  You can see the feather vellum on top of the bamboo cardstock in the picture below.  LOVE this vellum!!!

The Artbooking Cricut cartridge is PERFECT to cut out this 3 1/4” photo frame & these adorable banners. 

Look closely at the banner below,J while I did use our All the Details stamp set for the stamped banner pieces, take a look at the triangle banners. 

I stamped the triangle banners on the BACK SIDE of the designer paper & then cut them out of the patterned paper from the Free To Be Me paper pack.  I really like this red pattern design!
