TODAY --- I'll be focusing on the "These Are My People" (TAMP) Workshop kit. Let's take a look...

I ADORE when CTMH has these monthly specials because it USUALLY means they have a workshop kit created for us!! 

The other PERK of the Workshop kits...is that if you purchase the ENTIRE kit...you get a DISCOUNTED price!! Woohoo!! Who doesn't love a good deal?!? 

This kit is a beauty, and you can see the projects in this kit (created by the CTMH art department)  in this photo here.

However, I extended this kit to go EVEN farther than what it was intended for!! Yay!! 
I added a few sheets of cardstock to create an additional 2 - 12x12 page (to coordinate with the single pages in the kit) ---PLUS--- the additional CARDS that I'll share with you today! 

Let's take a peek at these beautiful card designs. 

All 4 of these card patterns came from our Make It From Your Heart, vol 1 How-To Book.  If you have read any of my other posts, you probably already know -- that I USE these How-To books ---- ALL ----THE----TIME!!!   
I used Card Pattern #'s --- 21, 27, 28 and 29

I LOVE the time it saves me to use these sketch patterns!
I used my Tri-Blend Alcohol Markers for the coloring of the flowers. 

I also used a Shimmer Brush on top of some of the flowers, after I colored them with the alcohol markers. 

I hadn't stamped words on a background in a while...and so, I used my Ballerina ink to stamp words, while stamping the black stem of leaves on top of the words!! What a fun way to create a background! 

I ADORE our Cardstock at CTMH too!!
 (and there is a MAJOR SALE happening on our Cardstock this month!! ) 
Check out how BEAUTIFUL you can stamp a tone-on-tone background, using the same color INK as Cardstock color!  In this case, I used the Color Smoothie.

Did you notice???

I used two of the stamp images in this set to create some "design" on the mint & kraft cardstocks. 

I really like the ACORN in this stamp set, and inked it up in Toffee & Espresso inks, and then just trimmed it out. 

Backed by our lovely Gold Shimmer Trim & Gold Embellishing Thread, it gave it just the "pop" it needed.

While it doesn't quite feel like fall, here in eastern PA....I know the fall weather is just around the corner! 

Take a look at the card I created with this month's stamp set. 

I found today's card design...in one of our past Idea Books (pg. 35 of our 2018 Holiday Expressions catalog) I'm pretty sure this pattern is from one of our Make It From Your Heart how-to books, but I didn't take time to double check that thought. :) 

 When I think of fall...I think gold tones...and that led me to do some Heat Embossing of those beautiful leaf images included in this stamp set! 

If you click on the photo to see the details...you'll notice the leaf images are heat embossing in gold.  What a FUN way to create a background! 

You'll see 3 different patterned paper designs. These papers come from our current "Mix In" papers!  If you haven't heard about our Mix-In or know what they are....please, please ask your CTMH consultant! :)  These papers are BEAUTIFUL & are meant to extend the use of the current paper packs in the Idea Book.  I ADORE the patterns and designs included in our Mix-In paper collection!!  

Let's take a look at the top of this card....

You will ADORE the gingham border stamp included in this stamp set! I LOVE it and can't wait to use it in other projects!! I also tied some of our Gold Embellishing Thread around the top of the card for some added texture and shine.

That acorn...that adorable acorn! :) 
I stamped the acorn with Espresso ink, and then colored it in with some of our Tri-Blend markers to deepen the brown tones.

I ADORED this stamp set, the moment I set eyes on it, and was excited to start creating with this beautiful stamp set! 

First, let's take a look at the finished card, and then I'll talk through some FUN details on how I created it!  

I used our Make It From Your Heart, vol 1 How-To-Book, and this is from sketch #27.  

The paper I used to create this card, comes from the BRAND NEW, just released TODAY, "Beautiful Friendship" collection.  So many beautiful colors & prints in this collection...take a quick peek!

 OK...let's share some MORE details about the creation of this card. 

THE JAR....

I stamped the jar, using CTMH's Archival Black ink, onto vellum paper.  I then used my heat tool to "set" the ink.  This worked WONDERFULLY & I know I'll be remembering to use this technique more often!! :)  

The "liquid" inside the jar...

I stamped the mason jar image with lemon ink ONTO Lemon Cardstock, then trimmed the jar out.  After it was cut out, I torn away the top of the "jar"...making sure to tear away from me, so the white core of the Cardstock would not show through the vellum.

Making the straw & lemon look real...

I took my xacto knife, and made a slit in the vellum to "tuck in" my straw & to attach a slice of lemon to the top edge of the mason jar!  

By adding a dab of tape runner to the back of the straw & the back of the lemons inside the jar...they are held in place & won't be sliding around anywhere. 

In this picture above, you can see that I used two different patterned papers, from the Beautiful Friendship paper pack, for the bottom of my card. I'm not sure if I like the strips or doily paper design better??

A last minute "thought" turned out to be a great idea!!  I wanted to use the dotted line that is included in the stamp set, but wasn't sure how to do that.  That was UNTIL I thought to add these dots as an accent around the white mat for the Jar - yay!!! 

Here are a few more tips showing you how I decorated some more items on this card. :) 

 Next, I pulled out my CLEAR Shimmer Brush, and colored my lemons on the card!! It's amazing what a little bit of clear sparkle will do to any creation!

Let's take a look at the ribbon....

 I didn't have a "lagoon colored" ribbon that I could use for the large amount of cards I was creating (I made a total of 15 cards for a monthly stamp card swap). 

So, I used our NEW White Ribbon, and then used the "turquoise blue" ShinHan marker to turn the white ribbon to lagoon colored!! 

My final part of the card, was to stamp the words "Join Us" on the front of the card. Wahoo!!
