This month at Close To My Heart, our EXCLUSIVE stamp of the month stamp set is called “Cheers, 2016!”
I created a card that I “cased” from fellow consultant Ms. Aaron Brown. Her work is ALWAYS superb, and I will often look at her monthly artwork to get my “brain wheels turning”. J
Here is the card I created using the Close To My Heart’s URBAN paper collection.
While I don’t often make New Year’s cards….this stamp set was a FUN one to use & this is quite a SIMPLE card that would be easy to recreate! J I believe I will reconsider making cards for 2016!!

I used some of our NEW colors at Close To My Heart – Saffron, Peacock & Pomegranate.
The stars in this stamp set, made a GREAT background stamp! The banners are ADORABLE too!! By adding a touch of gold shimmer trim, it added that “party feel” that I was hoping to achieve!
