There are SO MANY favorite stamp sets of mine,  that will be leaving us at the end of this month.  Let's take a look at this layout, and I'll share a few stamp sets that I used in this creation today.

I created this layout, using one of my very FAVORITE stamp sets from this past season, Swirly Seashells.  

This stamp set comes as an individual stamp (which makes it part of July's STAMPAGANZA sale) OR as a bundle pack which includes the stamp set & the coordinating Thin Cut metal dies...you get to choose! :) 

Earlier this year, I had an all day crop.  Each time, at this particular crop, I create a quick "make n take" for those in attendance.  

I always to my best to teach them something new, & have them create something that will be an addition to their scrapbook pages, we don't usually create an entire page since they only have about a 15 minute time slot to create in.  

Here is the border piece we created....

We showcased the following items as we created this border & most of these items we used, are retiring at the end of this month!!

These are the items we used to create the layout, that will be staying: 

Gold Shimmer Pen

Gold Glitter Gems

Spray Pen 

Watercolor Pencils

It was a LOT of fun to color the seashells & if you notice in the photo, I put some Sea Glass re-inker onto one of our acrylix blocks...this made my ink palette. :) 

Next I took my Blending Pen (or Waterbrush would work too) and "picked up the color" (sea glass re-inker) onto my brush, and painted my seashell with it! 

Here is a close up of two different ways to color these seashells with these colors...

The shell on the RIGHT - was colored with the sea glass reinker & blender pen and then I used my Desert Sand watercolor pencil, and blended the pencil marks together with my Gold Shimmer Brush, and got the "watercolor-gold shimmer" look.

Thoughtful Flowers - Dec SOTM Blog Hop

What a beautiful stamp set to create with.  The lovely flowers AND I adore the sentiments too!  I like the design of script that they chose for these words. 

When I created my project for today, I thought "wedding"...and this is the card I designed. :) 

I used the card pattern design from CTMH's Make It From Your Heart book - pattern #27 in the volume 1 version.

This is a favorite - "go to" book, and I love that I can always get my basic card design created in a short amount of time. 

Here's a close up of the flowers....

I stamped my flower with Memento ink on our watercolor paper.  Next, I squeezed the lid and bottom of my Sea Glass ink pad together - then, opened it up.  I now have beads of ink on the lid of my ink pad...perfect!  I pulled out my blending pen....and "inked it up" from the lid of my ink pad, and started to color in my flower! 

After the flower was dry, I went over a few of the petals with our clear shimmer pen and added sparkles to the center of the flowers. I also used my Silver Metallic pen, and outlines the White Daisy Cardstock center mat.  

I used two paper packs...the Uptown Fundamentals...

...and the All About The Gold acetate sheets. 

Did you notice, my acetate is NOT gold- hee, hee.  When you turn it over on the other side, you have the same design in SILVER!!  Give it a try! 

The strip of "ribbon" is actually silver foil tape...however, in the photo it's showing up black...wouldn't this be pretty with black shimmer trim ? :)

Here is the card I created for today…

Christmas?  Yes...crazy isn't it?!?! :)  Christmas will be here before we know it! 

 I wanted to share this card today, because it used the November Stamp of the Month - New Year's Cheer!  

Take a look at the stamp set....

Yes...it may be a New Year's stamp, but look at the shapes separately, and you'll be AMAZED at what ideas pop into your head! :) 

I was so excited to see how this card came together after cutting out our NEW Thin Cut Snowflakes with our silver glitter paper. 

So simple, so sparkly, so easy!  

I used ONLY cardstock in this card creation - Sea Glass (our color of the year) , Black and White...how EASY is that?!?!  

AND...do you see that black sparkle....if you know CTMH products, you know we don't have a current product that IS a black sparkle. :)  NO problem....I pulled out my ShinHan alcohol black marker and TA-DA....a black sparkle!!

As soon as I saw this stamp set - the "snowflake" images are the ones that stuck out to me. :)  

Here are the cards I created with my "snowflakes" ....

I used the card pattern design from CTMH's Make It From Your Heart book - pattern #21 in the volume 1 version.

I also pulled out one of my FAVORITE new Christmas stamp sets for the wording on these cards..."Hymns of Praise". 

 

I used clear & silver embossing powder.  I used the silver on the snowflakes & the banner....and then I used the Sea Glass mini pigment ink pad, and embossed with clear powder.

2017 Planners are HERE!!

Oh…they are BEAUTIFUL!!!  But then again, did we expect anything less?  

Close To My Heart has released their 2017 Day Planner…and they are full of detail, and stunning pages!!
