Today, I'll be showcasing this card I created using the beautiful Adventure Fundamentals paper collection....that's ON SALE this month at CTMH!! 
(we'll talk about this sale further down this post ;) )  

Let's take a look! 

I created this swing card, using our BEAUTIFUL Adventure Fundamentals papers.  I decided I also wanted to pull in our NEW Silver foil paper, & wanted to use some images from our "You Are Here" Cricut collection...FUN, FUN!! :) 

Let's take a look at the front of the card...

You can see the silver foil tucked behind the sentiment...and YES - I did "emboss" some diagonal lines in the silver foil!  I love to use my embossing stylus or bone folder to "indent" those lines and bring some character to the silver foil paper! 

I also used a piece of lagoon colored ribbon from the Adventures Fundamentals Ribbon collection on the left side of the card front AND...the sentiment shape & the flower image, came from the "You Are Here" CTMH Cricut collection!  

This cartridge is becoming a FAST favorite...and in case you haven't heard - all PHYSICAL Cricut cartridges are NOW on a While Supplies Last basis!!  Provo Craft has decided that they will be going totally digital - so if you haven't yet purchased this amazing, EXCLUSIVE Cricut collection from CTMH - please make sure  you do before they are gone!  

As you can see -the 700 images, alphabet font and more....make this cartridge one of the top ones in your Cricut collection! :) 

So...now, let's take a look at the stamp set I used to create this card.  This stamp set is a FABULOUS one and can be used for many different occasions!!  Take a look at the "Many Congratulations" stamp set image...

Did you notice the word ADOPTION??  There were A LOT of people excited to see this word as part of this stamp set!! 

I wanted this card design to be a bit "different" than normal, so I decided to create a swing type card.  It was easy to do, I folded my card into the normal size of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2...and then just folded the front of the card in half a second time!! :)  It's always so neat to see how "different" a card can be, just by folding it one more time!!

For the inside, I used the thin Cuts - Heart Border (our fabulous Metal Dies) to have an accent on the bottom of my card AND....you also see some of these hearts when the card is closed too!  

I decided to use the flower image on the inside of the card, and used my ShinHan alcohol markers to color it in.

I finished off the card, but using our oh so fabulous black & white dots. :)

Today I will be sharing a set of three cards I created, using NEW PRODUCTS from this GORGEOUS, New Idea Book!  

Take a look....

I used the floral designer paper from our BRAND NEW Whimsy Fundamentals for the base part of these cards.  By adding some black cardstock & coloring in these flowers with our wonderful ShinHan alcohol markers, they turned out to be some beautiful cards!!

On this 3 card collection, I used a NEW stamp set called "Happily Ever After".  

What a PERFECT stamp set for celebrating the joyous occasion of getting married!  I was excited how these flowers turned out...I don't see myself as a very good colorer, but really liked these purple hues! 

Also - I know I'll be using the word "Celebrate" for more than just weddings....recently, I stamped this word on a birthday card too! :) 

I also wanted to use our NEW "Color of the Year" color...Bashful in this project.  Take a peek on this "Best wishes" card, I used the Bashful Glitter paper, as well as the Bashful pearls!  Hooray for a NEW Color Of The Year! 

The final close up of this card, there isn't much to say ;)....it's just a simple card.  I chose to use different embellishments for all 3 cards...just to be different :).  This card uses our Gold Glitter Gems.

Thoughtful Flowers - Dec SOTM Blog Hop

What a beautiful stamp set to create with.  The lovely flowers AND I adore the sentiments too!  I like the design of script that they chose for these words. 

When I created my project for today, I thought "wedding"...and this is the card I designed. :) 

I used the card pattern design from CTMH's Make It From Your Heart book - pattern #27 in the volume 1 version.

This is a favorite - "go to" book, and I love that I can always get my basic card design created in a short amount of time. 

Here's a close up of the flowers....

I stamped my flower with Memento ink on our watercolor paper.  Next, I squeezed the lid and bottom of my Sea Glass ink pad together - then, opened it up.  I now have beads of ink on the lid of my ink pad...perfect!  I pulled out my blending pen....and "inked it up" from the lid of my ink pad, and started to color in my flower! 

After the flower was dry, I went over a few of the petals with our clear shimmer pen and added sparkles to the center of the flowers. I also used my Silver Metallic pen, and outlines the White Daisy Cardstock center mat.  

I used two paper packs...the Uptown Fundamentals...

...and the All About The Gold acetate sheets. 

Did you notice, my acetate is NOT gold- hee, hee.  When you turn it over on the other side, you have the same design in SILVER!!  Give it a try! 

The strip of "ribbon" is actually silver foil tape...however, in the photo it's showing up black...wouldn't this be pretty with black shimmer trim ? :)

La Vie En Rose–WOTG

One of our BEAUTIFUL “Workshop On the Go” kits at Close To My Heart is called La Vie En Rose. Look at this BEAUTIFUL paper collection!!! 

This kit is one of my favorites and I ADORE the exclusive stamp set that is found inside. 

Take a look at the 3 layouts we made using the La Vie  En Rose paper  at class earlier this year.  The black & white papers, paired with Pomegranate & Peacock cardstock made BEAUTIFUL layouts!  

So...do you like these colors paired with the La Vie En Rose paper?

The Artistry Cricut cartridge was used for all the cricut cuts.  I LOVE the flowers in this stamp set. 

And...check out the gold foil tape...this addition adds so much to this layout!

I used my Cricut Explore machine, and I was VERY impressed the detail this blade cut out the cricut cuts.  Look at this beautiful cluster!

I created this set of pages with the leftover paper we had after creating the first two layouts.  I added the La Vie En Rose Complements, instead of stamping so we could have a quick & easy 3rd layout.

Only 2 more days for STAMPAGANZA at Close To My Heart!!!

The AMAZING STAMPAGANZA stamp set sale is coming to an end!!  

With March just 2 days away, I thought I'd share a card I created recently, using some of my favorite stamp sets. 

My cousin is getting married, and we had a surprise bridal shower for her last Saturday.  She has already mailed us her wedding invitations (that she handmade), and used the CTMH colors of Thistle, Eggplant, & Fern.  So, I did my best to create a card for her using these same colors - and this was the result. J 

I used 3 stamp sets...and 2 of these stamps are apart of the STAMPAGANZA sale that is happening this month at Close To My Heart!  

The flower stamp, came from the current Workshop On the Go (WOTG) kit of La vie En Rose.  I ADORE these workshop kits, and they become extra special because of the EXCLUSIVE stamp set that is included int his kit!!  While this stamp set is not apart of Stampaganza - it is definitely a stamp I will use over, and over again.  

Here's a picture of what's all included in the La Vie En Rose WOTG kit....there are so many beautiful items in this kit!!! The included stamp set DOES coordinate with our newest Cricut Cartridge at CTMH - Artistry!

Here's a close up of my created card...

The words come from a GREAT wedding stamp set called "The Happy Couple".  Check out all these images!!!

This stamp is a D-size, meaning it's a $17.95 stamp set & you can see how useful this will be in upcoming projects!  I know we have about 4 weddings we are attending this coming spring....time to get those wedding cards created! 

The other stamp is one that I talk about quite often (sorry...but not really ;) ) is the "Ink Blot" stamp set  and it is one I will use over & over again - even after it is retired.  It's just "one of those stamp sets" that I will always love, and will use in a variety of ways.  Take a look at all of the FUN images in this stamp set.  

The paper that I used for most of this card, is our FABULOUS white-cored cardstock.  But take a look at the strip of green "cardstock" to the left of the card...do you see it?  See the shimmer, glossy design on the paper?  This cardstock is from our BEAUTIFUL, Fundamentals Cardstock collection.  I LOVE the versatility of using the GLOSSY side OR the printed side...it's up to you for YOU to choose!!
