If you have arrived from Joyce G's blog you are right on track.

Each month, at Close To My Heart, we have an EXCLUSIVE stamp set available we call our "Stamp of the Month".

Today, I'm sharing another card I created, using this BEAUTIFUL stamp set.

First, if you don't know about our Stamp of the Month (SOTM) program...make sure to ask your CTMH Consultant!💗

Here is a look at this month's stamp set - "Reindeer Crossing".

This stamp set can be yours for ONLY $5 with any $50 CTMH purchase during the month of December.

Let's chat about a few details on this card...

I used 3 of the stamp images, included in this stamp set.  I also used an ADDITIONAL stamp set, do you see it??

The "splotch" behind the 2 deer, comes from our "Strokes of an Artist" stamp set.  This is a stamp set, that I ALWAYS have in my stamp stash...and I use it quite often!

Our NEWEST embossing folder....sigh....is all about SNOWFLAKES!

Look at the design this embossing folder creates.  I chose to run our White Daisy cardstock through the machine to get this snowflake background design.

Oh the DETAIL & beauty this folder creates!! You'll notice I added a couple Julep colored glitter gems, to give some extra sparkle too.

One of my FAVORITE, new items we carry at CTMH, are the NEW Tri-Blend alcohol markers.

I didn't use them a lot on this card, but after stamping the pine cones with Memento ink pad, I colored & shaded them in with the Earth Brown & Dull Green markers.  You'l want to give them a try!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed my card & were inspired to create some of your own.

Happy Crafting & have a LOVELY evening!!!

If you have arrived from Joyce's blog you are right on track.

In case you HAVEN'T heard, you'll want to check with your Close To My Heart Consultant ...because the NEWEST release of our "B-I-G" Idea Book was released on August 1st!!

It's BEAUTIFUL, & has loads of NEW PRODUCTS! :) :) If you click on the photo of the Idea Book, you can view the online version of this fabulous book! :)

Today I created a card that uses soon-to-be-retired product as well as brand NEW goodies too! :)

I had the honor of making my baby brother a 40th birthday card this week, and I was EXCITED to use this new stamp set called "Hunting for Words" .  What a GREAT outdoors/nature Stamp set!!!  LOVE this new set! :)

Ok...now that we saw this beauty, let's take a peek at the card I created!

A simple card, but perfect for my brother who is a big outdoors-man. :)

I used our FABULOUS How-To-Book, Make It From Your Heart, vol 1, pattern #26 for my inspiration of this card design.  However, if you have this book, and take a look at the pattern, it will look a bit different than this card.  I used the patterns as my "starting point" & LOVE that by doing this, it SAVES me so much TIME!! :)

I chose NOT to color this "big guy" in....but instead I used our NEW stamp set - "Splash of Color" & added some background images with a NEW COLOR - Mink.

I then used another NEW product....eekkkk...all these FUN, new goodies! :)
We have MORE "Thin Cuts" (metal dies for those that aren't familiar with CTMH language ;) )

We have LOTS of new dies, but in this case I used our "Basic Banners - Thin Cuts".
Then, I used the "Marker Alphabet" stamp set, and stamped the 40.
The word "happy" came from the "Hunting for Words" stamp set - and I handwrote the "th" with my black journaling pen. :)

What about the paper?  Which paper pack did I use for this card?
Do you want to guess?? :)

This is our "handsome" Jack paper collection!  AND...this is the item that is RETIRING soon!!  This paper collection will be retiring on August 31, 2017, so make sure you have enough of this to last a lifetime! :)

That's all for today....thanks for stopping by, and I hope you were inspired to go CREATE something on your own! :)

Joyful Stars Blog Hop - Woodland Wishes - retiring soon....Post #2

If you have arrived from Betty's blog you are right on track.

If you've been following my blog, you may have noticed that I'm doing a blog series on "retiring soon" items...so that's a little bit of background of the card I'm sharing with you today. :)

Let's take a look at this card below, that uses a BUNCH of items that will be retiring on December 31st.

This card was one we created at a Home Gathering and a simple but beautiful one to create!! I got my inspiration from a fellow consultant, and I'm sorry I forget who it was...but thank you!

Take note on the picture above- we were even able to emboss the flap of the envelope with the snowflakes embossing folder! :)

We used our NEW Thin Cut bundle......Z4015- Woodland Wishes Thin Cut Bundle.
This BUNDLE is available at a DISCOUNTED price because it's a BUNDLE!!!

It's only $26.95 for the D-size stamp set & metal die cuts!! (The stamp set be purchsed by itself for $17.95 - D1696)

This 5x7 Snowflake Embossing Folder will be leaving us at the end of December too.  This beautiful folder is ONLY $8.95 & has a special feature!!

There is a 4" "slit" in the hinged part of the embossing folder.  This allows you to emboss a 12" strip of paper!  I LOVE this added feature that CTMH 5x7 embossing folders bring to us! :) (and yes, 5x7 is a LARGER size than most embossing folders out there. ;) )

On this close up photo - you'll notice that there is a bit of "shimmer" taking place on this card too. :)

I ADORE our new Shimmer brush - and this is ONE item that won't be retiring at the end of this month!  Yay!!

However, if you don't have one of these fabulous tools already, you may just want to add that to you next purchase.  It adds so much, and is only $4.95!!

Stay tuned to my blog as I feature MORE products that will be retiring in the next few days!!

That's all for today....thanks for stopping by, and I hope you were inspired to ready to go CREATE something on your own!
