Today, I chose to create this card design using this stamp set.
Let's check it out!   

I used our How-To-book ....Make It from Your Heart,vol 4, pattern #3 for this card design.  I ADORE using these very helpful idea books!

The paper collection that I used, is BRAND NEW and called "Sweet Girl"....take a look at these lovely colors! 

Let's take a look at some of the details of this card. 

There are SO MANY new Thin Cuts (metal dies) in our Seasonal Expression 2 (SE2) catalog, that was released today ...May 1st!! 

 I don't know if I have a favorite thin cut yet, but this Lace Border Thin Cut ranks near the top!! 

I "fussy cut" out the flower, from the MAY SOTM stamp set, and then colored it with our inks & watercolor brush.  Did you know??? You can put drops of reinker in the lid of the ink pad....and you have a pallet to grab color with your watercolor brush!!

If you look closely, you may see the clear shimmer on the flowers??  It's so hard to capture this with the camera!!

Today I thought I'd share a non-traditional Christmas card with you. Take a look at this card below!

This card was fun to create & my color combo was inspired by our NEW Color Combo book called "Love of Color".  I LOVE this book, and how fun it is to try out new color combos!  You'll want to check out the Love of Color book by clicking HERE. 

I used our beautiful Christmas papers, called "Oh What Fun"...and what a FUN pack of patterned paper is in this collection! I ADORE these bright colors, for a different twist to the Christmas season! (they make GREAT birthday papers too!) 

I also used 3 stamp sets to create this card design.  The first stamp is called "Tis the Season - scrapbooking" stamp....take a look...

The 2nd stamp set used was the "Wonder of the Season" stamp set.  
Do you SEE all the possibilities with this stamp set? 

And the 3rd stamp, you can hardly see where I used it on the card...but I DID use this "Watercolor Impressions" stamp set. 

Let's take a close up look at the card....the tag, is where I stamped the Watercolor Impression using the Linen ink.  When you see this card in person, you do really notice this stamp! :) 

The flower was colored with TWO of our new colors of Shimmer Brushes.  I used Sugarplum & mint.  The gold sparkle in the middle of the poinsettia, were the perfect touch to create this flower! 


Also, I have been having fun tying our MINK Twine into bows!  All I did was "double up" the twine, and tie the bow like I would my shoelace.  Ta-da! It's as easy as that! 

And check out the black & white striped Washi tape --- that's from the Hello Pumpkin collection (not halloween at all!) 

Here is the page in the Love of Color book, where I receive the inspiration....pretty close to the original design - but yes so different too!

One of my FAVORITE new products, is our Metal die cuts we call "Thin Cuts".. We now have a "Fancy Tags" thin cut bundle!!  

This set is LOADED with 10 different tags, & you can see that some of them have stitched edges too! :)

Here is this months EXCLUSIVE stamp set, that you can get for ONLY $5 with your $50 CTMH purchase in April 2018.

I was a bit "challenged" as I looked at this stamp set...it seemed like a Scrapbooking Stamp set to me.  But, soon that thought went to the back of my mind ;)....and I started brainstorming - HOW can we use this stamp set on a card. :) 

Let's take a look at the card I created using this stamp set.... 

I chose to use a NEW card design pattern, from our Make It From Your Heart, vol 4 How-To-Book.  I used pattern #15.  I just LOVE this new card book...I guess it's not really "new" anymore (it came out Jan 1st) but there are still so many patterns I haven't used to create cards!!  CLICK HERE to check out this WONDERFUL card sketch book :)  

The paper I used to create this card, comes from the "Gimme Some Sugar" collection.  So many beautiful colors & prints in this collection!

Let's take a few close up views of parts of this card...



I wanted to use as MANY stamp sets from the April Stamp Of the Month (SOTM) as possible....so that meant it was time for some BACKGROUND stamping! :) 

I used Mink cardstock for my background....and then stamped the stems of leaves in MINK ink!!  This subtle stamping, adds just the right touch of detail!

  

The darker "pink" in this card is our Pixie Cardstock.  Did you know????  Our Cardstock is NOW two-toned!!!  I LOVE this feature of our cardstock!!  The dark pnk, is actually the LIGHTER tone Cardstock of Pixie!!  Then I pulled out my Pixie ink to create my own designer paper & stamped the border. 

I ADORE the NEW Bashful Shimmer Brush and it seems I can't create a project without using ONE of our three colors! :)  In the photo below, you can see the "shine" of the letters.  I love that the Bashful Shimmer Brush also brings in a "hint" of color....a perfect touch. :) 

To finish off the card, stamped the banner "Always" onto Bashful Cardstock, stamped a Charcoal colored arrow under "be Kind"...and added some gray enamel gems.

2018 Seasonal Expression 1 New Product Blog Hop

We have some BEAUTIFUL, new papers in the NEW Seasonal Expressions 1 (SE1) book & today I chose to use the Make Waves paper collection in this card.  

Take a look....

I loved the color combo of the Make Waves paper collection, and chose to use this with TWO new stamp sets that are in the SE1 book too!!
  
I used the Gimme Some Sugar - Scrapbooking stamp set & the NEW Notes of Inspiration stamp....take a look at these FUN stamp sets!! 

 

My focus on creating this card was to use the NEW Thin Cuts- Basic Circle Tags.  Can you see where I used it on this card design? 

As I cut the Circle Tag from Bashful Glitter Paper...I realized I needed a circle mat for the inside of the circle to stamp the sentiment on.  Imagine MY DELIGHT when I learned that our Basic Circle Shape Thin Cuts fit PERFECTLY inside!! Yay!! 



 For my card design, I pulled out another BRAND NEW PRODUCT (one that I've been waiting to be released for a while!) ...the Make It From Your Heart, vol 4 CARDMAKING How-To-Book!! Wahoo!!  

I LOVE this new book & while there are fabulous card sketches inside - CTMH has made it even BETTER with the tips & techniques scattered throughout this book too!!  It's perfect! :) 

I used the Pansy Pigment ink, clear embossing powder & my heat tool  to make the wording "pop". :)  AND...do you see one more FUN, BEAUTIFUL, NEW product I used??

We now have a BASHFUL Shimmer Brush!!!!!  WAHOOOO!!!!

Notice the sparkle on the flower...and I colored the background of the word "Sparkly" with the Bashful Shimmer Brush too!! What FUN!!
