JUNE is FILLED with Fabulous specials here at Close To My Heart!!  Because there is SO MUCH goodness ;)....I wanted to share a card I created using this Month's Stamp of the Month (SOTM) Hello Foxy stamp set.  

Take a look!  

I adore this month's stamp set....and while the Fox on this stamp set is ADORABLE...I wanted to use the wreath for this card.  

Yes...I DID chose to fussy cut the wreath ;)...I get to urge to fussy-cut every once in a while :).  
I also decided to use the WATERCOLOR PENCILS to color in the flowers, and even though you can't see it.... I used the clear shimmer brush on top of the flowers to give it a bit of "sparkle" (at least in real life you can see it ;))    

The  "love" background paper - comes from our SOON-to-be-RETIRED Whimsy Fundamentals paper collection!!  

I love this paper, and will miss it - but know that CTMH has something else great for us to use.  This paper collection will be retiring on July 31, 2017.  

Here is another close up of the front of the card.  

I added some white shimmer trim to the bottom of the card, and topped that with our "Enamel & Glitter Duo" hearts & the striped pansy ribbon.  These items will also be leaving us at the end of July too!

How ADORABLE!?!?!  
It seems we are seeing MORE & MORE foxes these days, and I have to say these are some of the CUTEST I've seen yet!! 

  Today, I'll be sharing 1 of the 3 cards I created with this stamp set.  
Let's take a look.... 

This fun, card sketch, came from our How-To-Book - Make It From Your Heart, volume 2, pattern #20.  I just ADORE our how-to books! :) 

I choose to use my FAVORITE paper pack in the Seasonal Expression 2 mini-book (SE2)...the means i used the "No Worries" paper pack.  Here is a picture of this GORGEOUS paper collection!!

I wanted to use both flowers, from the stamp set, on this card, but didn't want to "over power" the card....so out came the CLEAR embossing powder :) 

Check out the embossed flowers on the weathered, barn board paper! 

Next I REALLY wanted to use our NEWEST "Thin Cut" metal dies!!  We have added a Basic Oval Thin Cut set & a Star set to our Close To My Heart collection!!

I pulled out the oval one, and the fox fit PERFECTLY on top of the cut!!! Wahoo!!

I used our fabulous watercolor pencils to color in the flower & fox images.  Then I used our Blender pen to "smooth" out the lines.

I was asked to create some goodies using NEW products, and was given the <<<NEW>>> Some Kinda Wonderful paper pack to work with. I decided to create a set of cards.  

Earlier this week I shared my fox card...today let's take a look at the ADORABLE turtle card...the 2nd card in this 5 card designed workshop! :)

I created this card using the pattern #21 in the Make It From your Heart, volume 1 how-to-book.  Have I ever told you how much I ADORE these how-to-books? :) They are my go to books for sure!! 

I used a NEW paper pack - Some Kinda Wonderful...check this bright & cheerful paper pack out!  Love it!!

I used 2 stamp sets in this cards creation too...

Take a peek at the close up of my turtles....

I pulled out my "almost forgotten" watercolor pencils and CTMH's Blending Pen to color in these critters...what FUN!!  

Take a look at the "friends" image...

...I practiced my "stamp rolling" technique on this piece.  I think some of you might know this technique as the "rock and roll" technique...a GREAT way to bring some added texture and design to this card.

This stamp set has been one of my customers FAVORITE's ever since they saw the release of this Holiday Expression mini-book.  So we are ALL excited it is NOW available to purchase!! J 

I didn't have as much time as I wanted to play with this stamp set, so I created this simple card for my team meeting the other week.  

While I am ENJOYING learning to watercolor with my NEW watercolor paints from CTMH, I decided to pull out my "oldie but goodie" watercolor PENCILS & the Blending pen to complete this card! J 

I only used 3 colors (shown above)....but our entire set of Watercolor pencils comes in 2 different boxes - 12 in each box to create a set of 24!! 

Look at all those FABULOUS colors!!

I am AMAZED each time I use this blending pen & how SMOOTH the blending pen makes my coloring!  

Here's a close-up of my coloring....

 By using the blending pen, it not only smooths out my pencil lines, but allows me to do some shadowing as well!!  I love this option!! 

For the banner, I did choose to use our Watercolor Paints.  I stamped the "Thank You" with my Black Memento ink pad onto watercolor paper.  Then traced the banner with my black journaling pen.   J 

I also had to add in our NEW lavender enamel hearts. When you purchase this pack you will receive Plain enamel & GLITTER enamel hearts too!!  

I backed the stamped jar paper with a sheet of our Purple glitter paper. EACH of CTMH's 12 x 12 glitter packs, come with THREE different shades of that color.  That means I had 3 different shades of purple glitter paper to choose from for my mat!!
