Here is a look at this month's BEAUTIFUL, EXCLUSIVE stamp set, that you can get for ONLY $5.... with EVERY $50 CTMH purchase in August 2020.
I was excited about the color combo that I used on this card....Peach, Peacock & the beloved Sweet Leaf (green).
I chose Sweet Leaf for my green because we only have ONE MORE MONTH to play with this color, as it is retiring on August 31. This farewell month will be bittersweet, as the color Sweet Leaf is a color that's stayed with me, all during my 14 years of Being a CTMH Consultant!
I want to do my BEST to give her a fabulous Farewell this month!😍
FIRST -- the card pattern design came from another item that is RETIRING on Aug 31st (or while supplies last) THe lovely, Volume #2 How-To Book. I use our how-to-books ALL THE TIME & am excited to see what may be coming our way in the future!
Did you know ??? You can CREATE your own designer paper when creating!! 😮
This applies to cardmaking, scrapbooking, or any type of papercrafting!!😍
Take a close look at the stamp images in the Aug stamp set again. Find these 3 little flowers I used to create a design (or pattern) on my peach colored cardstock. What a FUN touch!
I used Peacock ink for the outlined flower.
I wanted to "color in" the inside of the flower...but didn't want to get out my colored pencils. 😉 How did I color the inside of the flower?
I turned over the stamped image & stamped the FLAT side (or back side) of the stamp, to "fill in" the flower with Peach ink.
Do you see the little circles on all the petals??
The backside of the stamp image was not completely solid!! 😂😁So...to cover up those circles, I took my Peach Shimmer Brush and colored over the center of the flower to give it a bit of sparkle & shine.
The rest of the lighter peach came from using the backside of the stamp set. Yay!! 🥳🎉A quick and easy way to color in an image! (and a great way to get MULTIPLE uses for your stamp set too!)
I finished up my card with Gold Glitter Gems, Gold Glitter Paper & Gold Stickles. Isn't it GREAT that we have so many "embellishing" options to choose from?!? 💗💗
