This is the first time I'm able to open it up a weekend event to my ENTIRE mailing list...and not just those that have attended in years past. :) Wahoo! Join us for a crafting weekend this coming Fall!!

I am looking at possibly having a Fall Scrapbooking Retreat at Tel Hai Retreat! The weekend would take place Thursday thru Saturday, Oct 26-Oct 28, 2017!! Wahoo!

Why have I not "committed" to the weekend yet? :)
****I needed to hear from YOU first, since I need to get in a deposit in ASAP.****

I am asking for 25 people to register for this weekend, before I commit to hosting the weekend.

THANK YOU for your understanding in this! While I LOVE these weekends, I do want to honor my family as I consider going away another 3 day weekend…that’s why I’m asking the 25 person minimum. :)

A few differences from this past winter retreat at Tel Hai
(our recent weekend was the FIRST TIME at Tel Hai Retreat Center in Honey Brook....and we all LOVED it! :)

Lodging Options for the fall retreat, would be 2 choices...with the same price - either the Spruce Cabin OR the Log Cabins.

All the other lodging is already being used this weekend. These log cabins are DIFFERENT than Goshen & Joffa cabins we stayed in this last time. These are cabins we toured. They have their own bathrooms & showers inside, and hold 8 people. (without using top bunks)

Here is the Spruce cabin that a few of you stayed in this past retreat.

We WILL be setting up in the Hemlock Room again.

We will be using the spacious Hemlock Room that we used this past spring. While it rained the weekend we attended in Mar/Apr….we are hoping that’s not the case again! I am hoping to try the other meeting rooms for my next WINTER retreat, however, Hemlock is the only room available for this Oct weekend.

Meals will be Breakfast & Dinner only – on Friday & Saturday.

With the amount of snacks we received from Tel Hai, I thought we’d try just 2 meals on each day…both Breakfast & Dinner.

That means we’ll be on our own for supper Thursday night & lunch on both Fri & Sat....however, remember Tel Hai gives us snacks to eat throughout weekend PLUS...we have an 8pm snack (veggie/fruit tray) on Thurs & Friday evenings. :)

Sugar Rush WYW class

***Sugar Rush WYW Scrapbooking Workshop-January 2016

I just need at LEAST 4 people (of preferably more ;))to attend, to hold a morning class. J Gather a group of friends together, and let’s get a morning (or afternoon) class scheduled on the same day – Jan 30^th J

For January’s Scrapbook class, we will be using the Workshops Your Way kits created by CTMH. LOOK at this pretty paper...I think the Pomegrante color, makes everything POP in this kit! J

Here are a list of items included in this Workshops Your Way (WYW) kit...

Workshops Your Way™ Sugar Rush Scrapbooking Kit Contents:

1 – Sugar Rush paper packet (X7215B)
1 – Sugar Rush Complements (X7215C)
4 – cardstock sheets (1 Whisper, 3 White Daisy)
1 – Sugar Rush dots (Z3310)1 – Sugar Rush washi pack (Z3311)

Layout 1

Use the materials and the WYW online guide to create three traditional layouts.

ANYONE is welcome to come to the class, even if you are not a part of my Hostess Club.

These KITS are called Workshop Your Way (WYW) kits & they come COMPLETE with everything you need to create 3 two page layouts!!
You create 3 sets of layouts ….all for just $26.95.

Notice in the photo above, (the 3^rd layout) there are 2 different kinds of our Pocket Plus page protectors used in the middle of the traditional 2 page layout. These are NOT included in your kit and are OPTIONAL for this class. J

If you'd like to use the cut apart PML (picture my life) cards that are included in the SUGAR RUSH paper pack, you'll want to make sure you have these fabulous Pocket Plus protectors.

You can purchase these Pocket Plus Protectors as a 10 pack (as we'll be using these Pocket Plus protectors with all of CTMH's WYW kits) OR you can purchase them by the piece from me directly…$1 each. J

The 2 designs we'll be using for Sugar Rush WYW kit are Z3245 - Design 4 (3x4 pockets) and Z3243 - Design 2 (4x6 pockets)

>>>>After creating these layouts…you can then choose to use the rest of your supplies for the following goodies!

Option #1 - Each WYW kit ALSO creates 8-10 cards (Additional purchase of “Sugar Rush - Cardmaking” stamp set required) OR – maybe you’d like to create more layouts instead…it’s up to you!!

CTMH has a FREE online cutting guide available for you to print out or save, & create the exact creations as the CTMH has created OR use the paper pack however you’d like. The new WYW kit layouts are BEAUTIFUL, and pretty simple too! Believe it or not – there is NO STAMPING on the 3 layouts in the guide!!

If you DO decide you'd like to create the cards....maybe you don't want to cut out the stamped images. Well – check it OUT!!! Close To My Heart NOW carries matching Thin Cuts! (When you see a BLUE line around the images, you will know that there is a, matching metal die we call, Thin Cuts, available!)

Option #2...I did create a 4^th layout for this kit as well…you can see that photo below. The SUGAR Rush kit is SO FUN… J and the colors that CTMH put together is GORGEOUS!!!

… As always when I create a 4^th set of layouts…we will need to add a few extra sheets of base pages of paper….at least that’s always my goal.J So if you'd like to create this 4th layout, you can bring a long a few extra sheets of paper (I'll tell you what colors when the RSVP's are in) OR you can always purchase them by the sheet from me too.

***For this Sugar Rush WYW kit, you will need to choose if you'd like to create the ADORABLE cards OR do the 4th layout.

The embellishments included in this WYW kit is the 3 kinds of washi tape & the pretty, glittery sugar rush dots (in 3 colors!) J

The "Hooray" PML card, is actually tucked inside a 6x4 Flip Flap - and you may choose to do that too!
