I’m excited about the TWO new border punches we carry…so I used the Triangle border punch & backed it with a scrap of our brown & tan glitter paper.

Here is a close up shot…

See the NEW embossing folder??  It’s a woodgrain design!!  I inked the top of the embossed design with Champagne ink, and then rubbed the edges of the front square in chocolate ink. 

In the new Idea Book (debuting Aug 1st) you will see that we have added another 4 designs to our 5x7 embossing folder collection!!  J

Art Tip! This banner only uses one type of Cricut^® shape, but the finished product is still stunning. Use stamp kissing to randomly stamp across the pieces using the stamp set of your choice. Score with the help of the Cricut^®-cut score lines on the shape and piece together to create little globes. Tie together with baker’s twine and voila!

Art Tip! This project uses many Cricut^® shapes and all the pieces coordinate so nicely for an adorable finished product. Use the Artiste assembly booklet to put the bag together and then add the embellishments. The feathers are created with punched circles that are stamped using the kissing technique; however, if you don’t have the circle punch, you can easily make these using the Cricut as well. The eyes were created using Shimmer designer brads, but you can use any large brad or button to create the same look. Finish with the “owl miss you sentiment” for a special touch.

In case you’d like to create a similar card…

• I used the tag on page 32 of Artiste booklet to create circle.  Barn Red circle was cut at 3”, black glitter paper-2.6”, colonial white circle- 2 1/4” (key i)
• Notice the Pacifica blue border?  I used the medium heart stamp…and stamped the heart upside down! J
• The branch comes from the stamp set in the Pear & Partridge card making WOTG kit.
• I used black texture tool to create “texture” on colonial white areas of card.

Some details about the 2nd card…

• Did you notice the zig-zag border?  You can use PART of a stamp set, and create a LINE rather than a BACKGROUND!!!
• Color-Ready Seam Binding Ribbon is GREAT!!!  I used a sponge dauber and colored my ribbon, Barn Red!!!

When I received this kit, I knew I was going to use the ADORABLE stamp set to create some cards!!! Check out this AMAZING stamp set!!  My mind goes CRAZY as I think of the MANY uses for this stamp set!!J

Here is a card I created…

The CARD SHAPE was cut with our Artiste Cricut Collection…pg. 72…Accent 1>Shift>”Happy Valentine's Day” key….4”

The SCALLOPED SQUARE was cut with our Art Philosophy Cricut Collection…pg. 33…<Square2> key…2 1/4”  

I LOVE this new glitter paper!!!  Did you notice the SQUARE was glitter???  A 12x12 Glitter sheet will be a NEW item arriving in our 2013 Spring/Summer Idea Book starting on February 1st!!  I LOVE sneak peeks!!J




I RANDOM  STAMPED the background of this card with the many hearts in this stamp set.  I used blush, hollyhock & ruby inks on the blush cardstock…and stamped and cut out the owls (large-hollyhock, sm- ruby) on white daisy cardstock.



 I used Black Tulle and grey baker’s twine to complete the outside of the card. 

I decided to decorate the inside of this card…because ~ who of you realized this card, when cut by the Cricut, has a heart cut in the middle??? Check out the inside of this card!!!

I hope you enjoyed this glimpse of just ONE item you can create with this DARLING kit!!!
