For January’s Scrapbook class, we will be using the Workshops Your Way kits created by CTMH. LOOK at this pretty paper...I think the Pomegrante color, makes everything POP in this kit! J
Here are a list of items included in this Workshops Your Way (WYW) kit...
Workshops Your Way™ Sugar Rush Scrapbooking Kit Contents:
1 – Sugar Rush paper packet (X7215B)
Use the materials and the WYW online guide to create three traditional layouts.
ANYONE is welcome to come to the class, even if you are not a part of my Hostess Club.
Please RSVP by Jan 16th , or contact me after this date to see if there is still room available for you to join us! :) Come join us this night, to see what Workshop class is all about and you may decide to join an upcoming Hostess Club!
These KITS are called Workshop Your Way (WYW) kits & they come COMPLETE with everything you need to create 3 two page layouts!!
You create 3 sets of layouts ….all for just $26.95.
>>>>After creating these layouts…you can then choose to use the rest of your supplies for the following goodies!
Option #1 - Each WYW kit ALSO creates 8-10 cards (Additional purchase of “Sugar Rush - Cardmaking” stamp set required) OR – maybe you’d like to create more layouts instead…it’s up to you!!
CTMH has a FREE online cutting guide available for you to print out or save, & create the exact creations as the CTMH has created OR use the paper pack however you’d like. The new WYW kit layouts are BEAUTIFUL, and pretty simple too! Believe it or not – there is NO STAMPING on the 3 layouts in the guide!!
If you DO decide you'd like to create the cards....maybe you don't want to cut out the stamped images. Well – check it OUT!!! Close To My Heart NOW carries matching Thin Cuts! (When you see a BLUE line around the images, you will know that there is a, matching metal die we call, Thin Cuts, available!)
***For this Sugar Rush WYW kit, you will need to choose if you'd like to create the ADORABLE cards OR do the 4th layout.

Notice in the photo above, (the 3rd layout) there are 2 different kinds of our Pocket Plus page protectors used in the middle of the traditional 2 page layout. These are NOT included in your kit and are OPTIONAL for this class. J
If you'd like to use the cut apart PML (picture my life) cards that are included in the SUGAR RUSH paper pack, you'll want to make sure you have these fabulous Pocket Plus protectors.
You can purchase these Pocket Plus Protectors as a 10 pack (as we'll be using these Pocket Plus protectors with all of CTMH's WYW kits) OR you can purchase them by the piece from me directly…$1 each. J
The 2 designs we'll be using for Sugar Rush WYW kit are Z3245 - Design 4 (3x4 pockets) and Z3243 - Design 2 (4x6 pockets)

Option #2...I did create a 4th layout for this kit as well…you can see that photo below. The SUGAR Rush kit is SO FUN… J and the colors that CTMH put together is GORGEOUS!!!
… As always when I create a 4th set of layouts…we will need to add a few extra sheets of base pages of paper….at least that’s always my goal.J So if you'd like to create this 4th layout, you can bring a long a few extra sheets of paper (I'll tell you what colors when the RSVP's are in) OR you can always purchase them by the sheet from me too.
The embellishments included in this WYW kit is the 3 kinds of washi tape & the pretty, glittery sugar rush dots (in 3 colors!) J

The "Hooray" PML card, is actually tucked inside a 6x4 Flip Flap - and you may choose to do that too!

I was asked to create some goodies using NEW products, and was given the <<<NEW>>> Some Kinda Wonderful paper pack to work with. I decided to create a set of cards.
Earlier this week I shared my fox card...today let's take a look at the ADORABLE turtle card...the 2nd card in this 5 card designed workshop! :)

I created this card using the pattern #21 in the Make It From your Heart, volume 1 how-to-book. Have I ever told you how much I ADORE these how-to-books? :) They are my go to books for sure!!
I used a NEW paper pack - Some Kinda Wonderful...check this bright & cheerful paper pack out! Love it!!
I used 2 stamp sets in this cards creation too...
Some Kinda Wonderful - Cardmaking stamp set
and....Some Kinda Wonderful - Scrapbooking stamp set.
Take a peek at the close up of my turtles....
I pulled out my "almost forgotten" watercolor pencils and CTMH's Blending Pen to color in these critters...what FUN!!
Take a look at the "friends" image...
...I practiced my "stamp rolling" technique on this piece. I think some of you might know this technique as the "rock and roll" technique...a GREAT way to bring some added texture and design to this card.
I have FABULOUS news....the cardamking stamp set, the adorable one with all the animals, does come in a Thin Cut BUNDLE!!! Wahoo!!! That means, you can get the stamp set & the metal dies - which we call "Thin Cuts"....for a BUNDLE price of just $26.95!!! Fabulous deal!!!
