This month we have  Close To My Heart Consultants that will be sharing items they created using these FABULOUS new products.   This hop is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Wahoo!!

Here we go!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I ADORE our Thin Cuts, here at Close To My Heart, and it was hard to choose just one to use for this hop...so I used TWO different Thin Cut sets in today's card. :)
Take a look!
My card today, was INSPIRED by many different things/people today.
1. Gail Gross, is a fellow CTMH sister, and she created a card with a background like this....and I took her design & then created my own.
2. Our "Love of Color" how-to program.
The colors for this card, came from this AMAZINGLY (is that a word?) helpful book!  I looked up the CAROLINA color page.....and saw that they suggested that Peacock & Sage would be colors to coordinate with this blue.
I took it one step farther, and also brought in our Ballerina pink color.
The THIN CUTS (or metal dies) that I used on this card were...
1.Rectangle Stitched Frames
These Stitched Frames are FABULOUS...and did you know???
ONE frame will cut TWO different pieces???
For THIS card,  I used the largest frame (which you'll see is the SAGE color)
and the other frame I used was the medium one.  This time...I didn't use the "frame", but rather used the solid stitched inside piece instead.
This allowed me to stamp my words on the inside frame & still have that BEAUTIFUL stitched look!!
We've had these stitched heart thin cuts for a little bit at Close To My Heart, and they are a "go-to" image for me!
Whether you use cardstock, glitter paper OR designer paper when cutting them out, they are SURE to add that "extra touch" needed on whatever craft you are creating!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I also used THREE different stamp sets on this card & I LOVE how each has it's own purpose on this card design :)
Let me share these 3 stamp sets with you, in the order they will be retiring.
1. Stamp one - will leave us on Feb 28th
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you have arrived from Joyce Houck's blog you are right on track.

My card today introduces a few of our BEAUTIFUL items that we currently carry at Close To My Heart....take a look!

To create my card, I used these 3 MAIN ingredients. :)
"Feels Like Home" paper suite
 the Budding Peony metal die & stamp bundle
 AND the beautiful Sugarplum shimmer brush.
I ADORE the colors in this paper suite!

Here is a look at the "Feels Like Home" paper collection.....isn't it BEAUTIFUL??

The "Budding Peony" stamp/thin cut bundle is a favorite of mine, and is one I use often - even though it was only released on January 1st. :)  I ADORE this new set!!

I used out Sugarplum colored Shimmer Brush to completely COLOR IN the flower on this card!!

For the leaves, I picked up our waterbrush, and my fern ink pad. By squeezing your ink pad together BEFORE opening it,  you allow the ink to transfer to the inside lid of your ink pad container.
Ta-da!!!  You now have a paint palette and can "paint" fern green with your watercolor brush!

For my finishing touches, I used a small piece of black & gold ribbon & a few sprinkles of gold glitter gems.

That's all for today....thanks for stopping by, and I hope you were inspired to go CREATE something on your own! :)

Now it’s time to Hop on over to Debi's Blog and see what BEAUTIFUL, crafty item she has to share with us today! :)

Happy Hopping and we’ll see you on the 9th next month, when the Joyful Stars team members will be sharing more artwork using Close To My Heart products!

Blessings to you for BEAUTIFUL day!!!
