~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Heat it Up!...means getting out that fabulous heat tool!
I adore Sparkle & Shine & love to incorporate it into whatever project I'm working on.
Today, my "shiny" card was created with our BEAUTIFUL Mix-In papers.
Take a look...
I enjoy Heat Embossing very much & it's been a while since I did embossing on my ENTIRE card -- sentiment and all!
Let's take a look at the stamp sets I used for this card.
First up --- the Fairy Tale Magic stamp & thin cut bundle.
Ever since this stamp set was released, I've wanted to stamp those mushrooms! Well, today was FINALLY the day!! Yay!
Next up --- my FAVORITE Birthday stamp set!! This one is called "Birthday Greetings".  This stamp can be found in the ONLINE ONLY section of your CTMH Consultant's website! This stamp set I use, over & over, and OVER again!
I used our Princess Gold Embossing powder. to emboss the sentiment AND the mushroom border.  And yes...I did fussy cut that border ;)  I really enjoy fussy cutting, and when you have a FABULOUS scissors, like CTMH carries, our Micro-tip scissors are the BEST around to do your fussy cutting!!
I decided to also turn this into a Shaker card for some added fun!! I used our Loose Gold Sequins, and tried to pull out most of the clear sequins in that mix, with just a sprinkling of gold sequins.
The "Birthday Hello" and single mushroom, were heat embossed on the shaker part of the card, prior to filling the shaker with sequins.
To color in the mushrooms, I used our Tri-Blend alcohol markers. I LOVE how these markers blend "effortlessly" together!
Here's a look at the supplies I used to create this card
Z3704 Fairy Tale Magic Stamp set & Thin Cut bundle
D1899 Birthday Greetings stamp set
X9013 Mix In Papers
Cardstocks: Toffee, Sweet Leaf & White Daisy
Z4309 Shaker Window & Confetti Thin Cuts
Z4310 Shaker Window Foam & Acetate
z4194  White & Gold Skinny ribbon
Z2066 Princess Gold Embossing Powder
Tri-Blend Markers (Dull Green, Coral, Tan)
Here we go!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The "These Are My People" special, includes SO many BEAUTIFUL items!

Make sure you check in with your CTMH consultant, to learn about all EIGHT of them!
TODAY --- I'll be focusing on the "These Are My People" (TAMP) Workshop kit. Let's take a look...

I ADORE when CTMH has these monthly specials because it USUALLY means they have a workshop kit created for us!!

The other PERK of the Workshop kits...is that if you purchase the ENTIRE kit...you get a DISCOUNTED price!! Woohoo!! Who doesn't love a good deal?!?

This kit is a beauty, and you can see the projects in this kit (created by the CTMH art department)  in this photo here.

However, I extended this kit to go EVEN farther than what it was intended for!! Yay!!
I added a few sheets of cardstock to create an additional 2 - 12x12 page (to coordinate with the single pages in the kit) ---PLUS--- the additional CARDS that I'll share with you today!

Let's take a peek at these beautiful card designs.

All 4 of these card patterns came from our Make It From Your Heart, vol 1 How-To Book.  If you have read any of my other posts, you probably already know -- that I USE these How-To books ---- ALL ----THE----TIME!!!
I used Card Pattern #'s --- 21, 27, 28 and 29

I LOVE the time it saves me to use these sketch patterns!
I used my Tri-Blend Alcohol Markers for the coloring of the flowers.

I also used a Shimmer Brush on top of some of the flowers, after I colored them with the alcohol markers.

I hadn't stamped words on a background in a while...and so, I used my Ballerina ink to stamp words, while stamping the black stem of leaves on top of the words!! What a fun way to create a background!

I ADORE our Cardstock at CTMH too!!
 (and there is a MAJOR SALE happening on our Cardstock this month!! )
Check out how BEAUTIFUL you can stamp a tone-on-tone background, using the same color INK as Cardstock color!  In this case, I used the Color Smoothie.

Two of my FAVORITE parts about the "These Are My People" collection, are the...
1) Stamp set
2) Paper pack

The colors in this kit are SO BEAUTIFUL together!!

In creating these cards, I did add in a few extra stamps & embellishments :)
-Black & Soft Pink Shimmer Trim

- Black & White Dots
-D1919 With Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set
- C1835 Sentiments & Stitches stamp set

 So YES --- I DID create ALL of these cards above (PLUS 2 more 12x12 pages) out of the ONE workshop kit! :)  You will have extra papers to create these beautiful cards!!

You can purchase the TAMP paper pack on it's own...HOWEVER...the BEST deal is when you purchase the Workshop Bundle....and SAVE 20%!! Don't miss out on this FABULOUS deal. THESE ARE MY PEOPLE is only available until April 30, 2020 OR While supplies last!

Make sure you check in with your CTMH Consultant for all the details!!
I hope you enjoyed my card creations & that you were INSPIRED today!! :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you have arrived from Marie's blog you are right on track.
I hope you all are doing well, in our bit of a "crazy" world today. I know crafting has been my go to & it's been a joy to craft & create more than normal :)
Close To My Heart designed a special stamp set for this time of our lives...this is the stamp I chose to focus on today.
Here are the 2 cards I created.
The special stamp set, created by CTMH is this one here...
We can choose to find good in this situation :) ...and by taking time to take photos, write down feelings, memories, crazy things that are happening, we will PRESERVE & DOCUMENT these memories for future generations!
What a FABULOUS stamp set, to record these memories! Make sure to check with your CTMH consultant to get this exclusive stamp
Here is a close up of the first card...
I ADORE our stitched shapes, and yes...the stitched heart Thin Cuts were perfect to add to this card.
Let's take a close look at the background...
FIRST -- maybe you are wondering...why or HOW did I choose the colors for this card design??
Well---HAVE you HEARD the Exciting News??
This month at CTMH, we are having aCARDSTOCK CARNIVAL SALE!  We are SO excited about the 20-40% savings...make sure you talk to your consultant ASAP before this sale ends on April 30th (or while supplies last!)
This Green-Blue Cardstock Bundle that I used for these 2 cards, is 30% off retail price!
So, let's take a close up look at the many techniques we used on our Fabulous White-Cored Cardstock! :)
I ADORE our Embossing folders at CTMH -- and I used the "Flower Garden" embossing folder.
BUT...do you also see the striped embossed cardstock?
This, I created myself by using my bone folder & the groove in my paper trimmer (the groove where the blade normally is located ) :)
With this 2nd card design, I sanded the top of the Embossed flower piece, giving it a rougher appearance.
 I used some of our Diamond Stickles to fill in the heart & add a bit of sparkle to this card design.
Take a look at ANOTHER way to use our cardstock...tearing.
The border on the right side of the card, was tore to allow the white-core to show through! What a fun, rustic look!
I love those little houses in the "Let's Stay Home" stamp set! I stamped these 3 houses in 3 different colors, glacier, mint & peacock...then I fussy cut them out & paper pieced them together! :)
Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed my cards & were inspired to create some of your own.
Happy Crafting & have a LOVELY evening!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now it’s time to Hop on over to Debi's Blog and see what BEAUTIFUL, crafty item she has to share with us today! :)

Happy Hopping and we’ll see you on the 9th next month when the Joyful Stars team members will be sharing more artwork using Close To My Heart products!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is this month's EXCLUSIVE stamp set, that you can get for ONLY $5 with EVERY $50 CTMH purchase in April 2020.
I LOVE that we have an EXCLUSIVE stamp set available at a DISCOUNT each & every month!!
April's Stamp set is an ADORABLE one for sure!! There were so many GREAT ideas out there...and I'm sure you've seen some FABULOUS creations on this hop!
Here is the card I created today....
Let's check out the DETAILS of this card. :)
When I first saw this stamp set...my mind thought "background stamping" and "wouldn't this look neat with an emboss resist technique" that's exactly what I did!
I took a sheet of our White Daisy Cardstock & used my VersaMark ink pad to stamp a LOT of fish all over the paper.
Next, I took my WHITE embossing powder & sprinkled that all over the fish, shook off the excess...and then used my Heat Tool to set the embossing powder.
Then...the FUN part!! :)  I used these 3 ink colors below & used a different sponge in each ink pad and started coloring! By going in a circular motion, it was easy to blend all of the colors together. Those white embossed fishes just POPPED when colored with those dark colors!!
Next, I wanted to add "bubbles" to my fish, as this was another stamp image in this FABULOUS Stamp of the Month collection!
 I pulled out my Liquid Glass, and that was the PERFECT touch to create those see through bubbles!
If you look closely at this larger fish above -- you'll notice he's a bit "shiny" ;) .  After I was finished sponging him with ink...I colored him in with our CLEAR Shimmer brush....so sparkly!
The white glitter -- is our GORGEOUS White Glitter paper.  It comes in a set of 3- 12x12 sheets! Love this product!
  I also always try and use as MANY stamps from this stamp set as I could! :)
So....take a look at the "scallop" border ;) ....it is actually the WAVE stamp from this set! Yay!!
To finish up the card I created the center focal point.
I stamped the fish in Bluebird Ink onto some "extra" paper that I had "Practice sponged" the inks on...then I used our micro-tip scissors to fussy cut out the fish.  He needed some sparkle too ---so out came the Clear shimmer brush, and that gave him the finishing touch. :)
By using Green Apple & Almond ink, I was able to create a small circle of sea life on the stitched White Daisy circle.
 ---------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope you are enjoying this blog hop & are getting a lot of creative inspiration for when you create with your OWN Stamp of the month stamp set.
Now – it’s time to head over to check out Lauren's blog to see what CRAFTY item she has created using this stamp set!
