Gold Foil–Behold- Christmas Card

Hello to you! Smile

Today, I wanted to take a moment & share with you a Christmas Card I created.  This is one of my FAVORITE  Christmas cards I created this year....but I "almost" feel bad sharing it because it is SO incredibly simple to make!! Smile I was pleasantly surprised at how this card turned out & excited to share this with you today!
  So let’s take a look….

Have you created projects with our wonderful, GOLD FOIL paper? If not, you'll want to give it a try!

LOOK at the main background of this card, & how rose embossing folder - cropped 196e0c3f-e3a4-4ff7-8ac5-2918d574a0a3BEAUTIFUL it embossed, when I used our ROSE 5x7 embossing folder on this Gold Foil!  I ran the foil through my Cuttlebug machine!, to acheive this beautiful result. (You can use any embossing machine - big shot, ebosser, etc)

And yes…we have GOLD & SILVER foil paper…just in case you were wondering. Winking smile

As you can see, the rest of the card was just very simple...I stamped the words in our Black ink.

Black matting to the words, made it "jump" out at you as you looked at it & 2 black dots in the bottom right corner (from our Black & White enamel dots collection).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you have arrived from my friend, Joyce's blog you are right on track.
Today, we'll take a look at a Christmas card, as this season quickly approaches! Let's take a look!
This card design was taken from our Make It From Your Heart, vol 1 addition- and is pattern #29...however you'll notice I did change up the pattern a little bit. :)
I was excited at how "easy" this card was to create, but so happy with the results!  I actually used 3 stamp sets in this creation...let's learn more about it!! :)
Here is a closer look at the front of the card...
The beautiful "Frosted Christmas" stamp set, has been a popular one this year! I love the colors of purple & blues for my Christmas cards, and used Eggplant ink to stamp the Merry Christmas.
The silver glitter paper, was added as my mat...and the card base was stamped with our "In the Background" stamp set in Glacier Blue ink!  I loved how the dots looked like falling snow! :)
Take a closer look at this snowflake I cut from our Cricut cartridge.  See the pearl in the middle?  This pearl was white when I first started creating this card! :)
I ADORE our ShinHan alcohol markers & LOVE that they can help me color my embellishments to whatever color I need!  In this case, I colored my white pearl with my Turquoise Blue ShinHan...and ta-da...it turned into a Glacier blue, that matched the border above it!
Now...take a look at the eggplant cardstock strip at the bottom of the card.  Do you see the stamped snowflakes?
This border stamp set is a PERFECT stamp set for the Christmas season - BUT...that gift border has me thinking I could use that particular stamp ALL  year long!! :)
  Check out the "Christmas Borders" stamp...and make sure to check in with your CTMH consultant to see what other items will be leaving us soon!  This stamp set (and the Frosted Christmas stamp set above) will RETIRE on Dec 31, 2017!! To see the Holiday Expression idea book & all the items that are retiring CLICK HERE.
I'm also entering this card into the Color My Heart Color Dare :)
That's all for today....thanks for stopping by, and I hope you were inspired to go CREATE something on your own! :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now it’s time to Hop on over to my friend Betty's  blog and see what beautiful, crafty item she has to share with us!

Happy Hopping and we’ll see you on the 9th next month, when the Joyful Stars team members will be sharing more artwork using Close To My Heart products!

Blessings to you for BEAUTIFUL day!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is this months EXCLUSIVE stamp set, that you can get for ONLY $5 with your $50 CTMH purchase in December.
This stamp set is being released....just in time for the upcoming Valentine's celebration - however...these cute icons can be used for OTHER fun creations too!!
Here is the card I created for today.
I used our BEAUTIFUL Basics Fundamentals paper collection & some of our "Color of the Year" - Bashful cardstock.
Is this card design familiar to you? It's from one of our current WYW Cardmaking kits in our Holiday Expression mini-book.
I used 2 sets of Thin Cuts for this card...our Banner Thin Cuts & Circle Thin Cuts.  Love how easy it makes this!
And take note of the left side of the card - I embossed the Bashful Cardstock with our 5x7 Buffalo Plaid Embossing Folder. I just adore the dimension embossing folders bring to our cards!
Take a look at the scallop edging that is stamped on the circle.  This stamp comes from the Kind Thoughts WYW Cardmaking kit. This stamp set can ONLY be purchased with the entire kit....and it's a beautiful stamp that I know I'll use quite often!
For the stamped white hearts, I used our White Daisy pigment ink to make them "pop" on the card, and then added some gold glitter gems to tie it all together.
Here is a close up of the cupcake...yes, it's "fussy cut" (using a scissors & cutting around the cupcake by hand)....but take notice of the FUN shimmer on the cupcake.  Our Shimmer Brush adds so much sparkle, shine & design to our creations!!  If you haven't used these amazing brushes, talk to you your CTMH consultant! :)
 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope you are enjoying this blog hop & are getting LOTS of ideas for when you create with your OWN Stamp of the month stamp set. Happy Crafting to each of you!
