Here we go!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I ADORE the October special & decided to re-create a few cards from the Holiday Sparkle cardmaking kit that is available ONLY in October 2018!
Let's take a look at the 2 cards I created....and then we'll talk more about what's all included in this kit.
Here are the cards I created....
I ADORE snowflakes & wanted to add some more glitter & sparkle to my card design....so out came some glitter paper, shimmer trim & the new Winter Flurries Thin Cuts (metal dies) to create the cards shown above.
Take a look at this close up....those "blue looking" sequins - they are ACTUALLY iridescent in color!!! But because of the blue card base - the sequins turned the color blue!
The words "Warm Wishes" come from an EXCLUSIVE stamp set that is also included in the Discounted Cardmaking kit!!! Take a look at all the beautiful sayings in this set!!
I also used the Shaker Card Thin Cuts, to create a Glacier Cardstock stitched circle (even though there is a white stitched circle frame included in the kit ;) ) .
This Thin Cut set is so FUN!!  Do you see the other metal die from this set, that I used on my card???
Yes - you guessed it!!!....I used the heart confetti with some Raspberry cardstock & added it to the sequins inside of the Shaker part of the card!! :)
Now, let's take a look at the second card - you can see I used the single snowflakes stamps..... from the stamp set above.
The border of snowflakes to the left of the card, comes from another stamp set called "Holiday Borders"...I just couldn't pass it up, as the snowflakes matched so perfectly!! :) :
Just a note...I put a few too many sequins inside the shaker part, before I closed it....I am AMAZED at how little of the sequins you use in each shaker box!! :)
---------------------------------------------------------------
The "Holiday Sparkle" cardmaking kit is a pre-printed, Cut Above kit (that means everything is included)  to create 12 - 5x7 Christmas cards!
Here are the 2 card designs created by CTMH.
All the images you see on the card, are either punch out die cut shapes or stickers!  The kit ALSO INCLUDES, the foam & acetate windows needed to create the shaker part of the card PLUS the bag of loose sequins too!!  All you will need to put these 12 card designs together is your adhesive! :)
You can EVEN CHOOSE to decorate the included envelopes with the stickers!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you have arrived from Joyce Gough's blog you are right on track.

Here we are in October already, and guess what??  I had my first Christmas Cardmaking class the last Saturday in September!

So...today, we'll take a look at a Christmas card that I created - WITHOUT using any Christmas stamp sets! :)

Here is my Christmas Joy card.... :)
(click on the photo to enlarge it)

This card was is fairly simple to create, but oh what FUN, to create it using all NON-Christmas stamp sets!

I did use one of our NEW Christmas papers....this is our "Tis the Season" paper collection...

But I also used 2 new stamp sets to create this card design.  The first stamp is called "Boutique cardmaking" stamp....take a look...
The 2nd stamp set used was the "Boutique - Scrapbooking" stamp set.  Check out the photo to see these beautiful stamp images. :)

Let's take a close up look at the card....You'll notice that I used the word "joy" from the one set..and then used the heart & the wreath leaves from the 2nd stamp set.

Bitty Sparkles around the wreath add a bit of sparkle to the card.

To create the wreath - I used New England Ivy ink, and stamped the "swag" of leaves...and kept stamping with out reinking the image.  Take a look at the photo - and you'll notice there are 2 colors of ink (although I really just "stamped off" to get the lighter shade!  It's all from the New England Ivy ink pad!)

One of my FAVORITE new products, is our Metal die cuts we call "Thin Cuts".. We now have a "Decorated Borders" thin cut bundle!!

This set is LOADED with stitches, cuts & you can see the die set in the photo below! :)

Now, take a look at this next photo....can you see the 2 Thin Cut metal dies that I used on the White Daisy cardstock?? :)

Yes - you got it!!  I used the double stitched imprint...and the small scallop border!!
I can't WAIT to use these dies even more...there are so many possibilities!!

The strip of strips behind sentiment...came from one of our ZIP Strips! :)
That's all for today....thanks for stopping by, and I hope you were inspired to go CREATE something on your own! :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Here is this months EXCLUSIVE stamp set, that you can get for ONLY $5 with your $50 CTMH purchase in OCTOBER 2018.

I LOVE that we have an EXCLUSIVE stamp set available at a DISCOUNT each & every month!!

Look at this BEAUTIFUL stamp set...and what a FABULOUS price point! :)

I chose to create a card with this stamp set...take a look :)

I was inspired by a 2 fellow consultant and the CTMH Art Department for this card! :)  (thank you Brenda Rose, Becca Whitman & our Fabulous art department) AND....would you like to know where the card design came from??

Take a look to the card on the right....

while the card I created above- is NOT the same as this card design, :)  it IS where my card design idea originated from!!  This card comes from our FABULOUS cardmaking Workshop kit called "Hugs for You".  EACH of our WYW kits, found in our Holiday Expressions Idea Book INCLUDE directions & card or scrapbooking sketches!!

I also chose to use the BEAUTIFUL, fall toned paper pack, named "Grateful Heart".  I love the tones in this paper pack...isn't it beautiful?!?!!

Let's take a closer look at the Grateful Heart papers...and then we'll talk about my card creation.

One of my FAVORITE new products are the NEWEST Thin Cut sets (metal dies)....take a look at our Decorative Border Thin Cuts.  OH the possibilities!
So I was determined to use them in this card design. :)
Let's take a close up look at this card....

I used the notebook paper edge, the double stitched die to create a border around the outside as well as adding them to the White Daisy "notebook" paper too!

The circle - was created by using our STITCHED Circle Thin Cuts (metal dies)...and it was the perfect addition to add more "stitching" to this card! :)

For the birdhouse, I used paper from our 6 pack of paper called "Seasons Mix-In".  What a WONDERFUL pack of papers that coordinate with everyone of our paper packs in the Holiday Expression book!!

Here's a peek at these paper designs...

The row of hearts comes from one of the Grateful Heart paper pack "zip strips"....if you aren't familiar with zip strips...all CTMH papers, have this FABULOUS 1/2" strip at the top of our paper collections!!

On one side, the coordinating colors are listed, and the other side is a beautiful pattern design that you can use on any of your creations! :)

You may have noticed the indented "x's" at the bottom of the card.  Those are created with the Decorative Border Thin Cuts too :)

To finish off the card, I stamped the leaf branch with New England Ivy ink onto fern cardstock, then just trimmed it out.
The final touch was adding the Gold Glitter Gems & adding a piece of white & gold skinny ribbon.
