Workshop Your Way kits–by CTMH

Have you ever tried Close To My Heart’s (CTMH) Workshop Your Way kits?

If you haven’t – I encourage you to read along on today’s post to see what they are all about! J

These kits are FABULOUS, as they create both scrapbook pages & card designs…so you get a mixture of both kinds of paper crafting!!

So…what are the Workshops Your Way kits???

With Workshops Your Way™, you create…

* three beautiful scrapbooking layouts with no stamping

* a fourth layout featuring Picture My Life™ cards

*and the option to create an additional cardmaking project featuring stamping and other techniques—all with one workshop kit!

(You'll also need a few basic tools you may already have.)

So…let’s take a look at the MAGICAL kit – this is the kit we used at this month’s Hostess Club Scrapbooking Class….

What a BEAUTIFUL fun kit!! While this kit can be seen as “Disney” themed kit, I encourage you to think “outside the box”! This could be used for birthday, Graduation, Summer fun – all come to mind, of ways this paper collection can be used! J

Here is a list of ALL the items that are included in this Workshops Your Way (WYW) kit...

CTMH has a FREE online cutting guide available for you to print out or save, & create the exact creations as the CTMH has created OR use the paper pack however you’d like. J The new WYW kit layouts are BEAUTIFUL, and pretty simple too! Believe it or not – there is NO STAMPING on the 4 layouts in the guide!!

(You can view these complete recipes, full-color photos, and helpful hints for the additional projects through the entire cycle of the idea book they’re featured in.)

Let’s take a look at each of the layouts you will create with this kit…

Each WYW kit ALSO creates 8-10 cards (Additional purchase of A Fairytale Birthday stamp set required) J OR – maybe you’d like to use the “extra” paper to create more layouts instead…it’s up to you!!

As part of my Hostess Club, I often will “re-vamp” the layouts & cards to suit what I know YOU love! It’s been fun to have this starting base, cutting the papers as CTMH has designed, but then adding a stamp set, or maybe another few sheets of cardstock to give it a “Krista touch” for these workshops. Smile

I liked how CTMH designed these workshops, but I wanted to use a few more of the Complements (that are included in the kit) PLUS I ADORE the “Carnvial Fun” stamp set (retiring Aug 31,2016#)– and wanted to incorporate that into my creations too….Check it out!

PLUS…I then “scrap lifted” (yes, copied – LOL!) my good friend, Gina Brandstetter, on the card designs she created. I LOVED her cards when I saw them…they were so similar to the cards I wanted to create using this stamp set!! Smile

These card designs are the SAME design & paper pieces that you cut from the Magical WYW kit for the orginal cards (shown above)…but they use the Carnival Fun stamp set instead of the Fairytale Birthday stamp.

I am excited to share with you that I have set up a VIP Close To My Heart group that is ALL related to Papercrafting! :)

This group is for ANYONE who enjoys papercrafting, cardmaking, scrapbooking & who would love to learn what classes, events and projects & specials I am personally hosting. And of course - we'll also know what is the latest & greatest that's happening at CTMH too! :)
