Here is a look at this month's EXCLUSIVE stamp set!! 💗

I wasn't sure WHAT I'd create with this stamp set....but I decided just to go with something simple...and I ENJOY creating Cards...so that's what I did!

Here is my card I designed using this stamp set.😍

Yes---it's BRIGHT and BOLD --and turned out aye ok. 

Take a peek at the beautiful Candy Apple & Sundance designer papers ---they are from our NEWEST Mix In Paper pack (X9026 Mar-Apr)😊

I wanted to create a background & so I pulled out our 5x7 Embossing Folder (Floral Lace) and ran a piece of Bluebird Cardstock through my CTMH Embossing machine.  The word "Thanks" was stamped with Lagoon ink, and the metal die was from our Waterfall Thin Cut set (z3777)!  I have been using this stitched banner so MUCH lately!!💗

To make the background of the card "stand out" a bit more --- I then took our Bluebird INK pad, and lightly ran the ink over top of the raised part of this embossed image! How FUN to create a more intense design, just by using ink! 😍🤩 

The Stitched Rectangle Thin Cut (metal die) was the PERFECT place to stamp my Lagoon flowers. 😉. This card just makes me smile because it's so BRIGHT & Happy!

  

My final touch was to glue on Blue Belle Sequins, some to the flower centers, and some sequins down near the "thanks" banner.

Today's card is one I created for our oldest son, whose birthday is today!  

 

The items I used to create this card are ALL available and are mostly found in the ONLINE ONLY section of your CTMH consultant's website...make sure you don't miss out on all of these GREAT items that are "hiding" in our online catalog! 

 

I did use a NEW paper pack -- the Wood Grain paper, as well as the X9017 Mix In papers.

I used this handsome stamp set & thin cut (metal dies)....it's perfect for those outdoor people that are family or friends! Our oldest son loves to fish --and so that was the image of my choice when creating his birthday card. 

I had my hubby come down in my craft room to tell me the correct colors needed for this fish---this is what he told me to use. 😍

It turned out so LIFE like & looks so much better in person. The camera didn't pick up the lovely shimmer that is on the top and belly of this fish.  So FUN!!

May is National Scrapbooking Month, 

and that's a WONDERFUL reason to celebrate!!

  

I created a card, showcasing this Fabulous "Blue Skies" collection --- take a look!

This paper is SO "happy", bright and beautiful!! Let's take a look at those BEAUTIFUL pattern designs in the "Blue Skies" paper collection! This card sketch came from our FABULOUS, Make It From Your Heart vol 1 book -- pattern # 24.  I ADORE our How-To books! :)  

Look at these GORGEOUS, happy paper pack!  I used 2 patterns from this collection in my card -- the grid paper & the yellow sunshine paper.  You will also notice the 12x12 Sticker Sheet in this photo below. :) 

The other paper I used on my card, AND it's in our Blue Skies Collection is the BRAND NEW UV coated cardstock!! Check this out!! 

This is my FAVORITE part of the "Blue Skies" collection! Here are a few close up photos so you can see the BEAUTIFUL clear embossed designs on this paper....here are the two patterned pieces of cardstock I used.

     Aren't they GORGEOUS??  
Look at those BEAUTIFUL papers!! 

The strip of red hearts comes from one of our "zip strips"...the top 1/2 inch of our 12 x 12 1/2 paper. I love this extra PERK of our paper collections. 

The "Thinking of you" wording, comes from the ADORABLE, May Stamp of the Month (SOTM) stamp set -- this set is ONLY $5 with every $50 CTMH purchase you make in May 2020! :) 





Next, those flowers :) Yes...they were stamped with our "Beautiful Day" stamp set & cut out with our coordinating Thin Cuts!

I used Lagoon & Pixie inks for the color of my flowers & Sapphire ink for the middle parts. Green Apple was the ink color I used for the leaves. I ADORE these bright happy colors! 

I also used a FEW images from the "Blue Skies" stamp set on my card too! Can you find which images I used?? :) 

 I used the corner stamp & the row of 3 hearts. :)

Let's take a look at some close-up details :) ...but FIRST----

In case you haven't heard ---today MAY 1st---was the release of our NEWEST bi-monthly mini book! Make sure to check with your consultant about ALL the goodness inside!!

May is a MONTH to Celebrate,  as it is International Scrapbooking Month!! Yay! We papercrafters, LOVE to celebrate!!

I used papers from our EXCLUSIVE Blue Skies collection for the floral Cricut cuts of this card. 

Can you see the Clear Embossed patterned design on my cut out flowers & leaves? 

That coating & design is already printed on the cardstock when it arrives from CTMH!! WOW!!! It's BEAUTIFUL!!

---AND---Exciting news!!  

CTMH has just RELEASED 2 new mini Cricut collections---exclusive and ONLY available from YOUR Close To My Heart Consultant!!
I used the NEW "Cricut Stitched Flower" collection for the flowers & leaves. (I think I may need a new blade in next time, so it can cut those beautiful flower centers a bit better ;) )

  Did you see the TAG tucked behind those flowers----drum roll please!!  This tag is apart of our NEW Tags & Tabs Thin Cut collection!

I cut the tag from our new Mix-In paper pack....take a closer look by clicking on the photo, and you'll see the Mink striped, pattern design on the tag. 

The background of my card was created with another NEW item :) ....yes...I was having FUN!! LOL!! 

Take a look at what our NEW Quilted Embossing folder can do!! Lovely!!  
I ran Lagoon Cardstock through my Cuttlebug machine twice ---one time using the "true" Lagoon colored side.  The second time I used the backside of the Lagoon cardstock -- the lighter side.  

I then took my handy Micro-tip scissors, and cut out every other square and pasted it on top of the coordinating square to get my two-toned "quilt". :) 

To finish off the card, I took Sapphire Cardstock and used my Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts to get the beautiful stitched frame on the edge around the card base.
