July is a SPECIAL month at Close To My Heart...we are celebrating our FABULOUS clear, My Acrylix stamp sets by having a SALE!!
All stamp sets are Buy 2 get the 3rd FREE!!
With this special, CTMH has brought back some previous stamp sets for THIS month only!! These stamp sets were quite popular in their day - they are the "Solo" stamp sets...and that's what I chose to use to create todays artwork. :)
Take a peek at my card creation for today!
I got this "crazy" idea to try and make a Christmas card with our current paper collections, even though we don't have any Christmas specific paper packs this season. :) Well, I was pretty happy with the results!!
I used our FABULOUS Make It From Your Heart, vol 4 (pattern #17) cardmaking sketch guide to get the design on the card...and adjusted it, just a tad, to fit my Solo J stamp set.
Any guesses for which current paper collection I used?
Take a look at the Central Park paper collection....yup, the papers are in this pack PLUS I added some Black Cardstock into the mix too.
1. B1234 Solo j
2. B1239 Solo o
3. B1249 Solo y
4. C1690 For You Darling
(You can click on each word above to see the entire stamp set.)
Inks used in this creation were poppy, fern & black...
I used the LARGE "j" in the Solo J alphabet, but then chose to use the smaller letters in the o & y stamp sets to create the word "joy".
That's all for today....thanks for stopping by, and I hope you were inspired to go CREATE something on your own! :)

Blessings to you for BEAUTIFUL day!!!
