~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's always FUN to see the Beautiful products CTMH releases every two months...and this new mini catalog is a BEAUTY!
There is ONE page in this mini catalog, that REALLY caught my eye! The artwork in these books are AMAZING & I chose to recreate one of the cards shown in this book!
You'll find this ADORABLE penguin set & card on page 34 -- BUT---what you CAN'T see on these pages, is the GORGEOUS details & products used on this card!
**Check out the Lovely Penguin Card below**
 Let's chat about this card design.  There were so many FUN products and Techniques used on this card!
The products that are the hardest to notice on this card... are the sparkly items.
2. Stickles Glitter Gluein 2 colors
We, at CTMH, have FIVE Holographic papers to choose from, and for the "skating rink" on this card, I used our Dreamy color.
The "snow hill" was created with White Daisy cardstock and our Fancy Border Thin Cuts (metal dies)
Next, this penguin was colored with our AMAZING, Spectrum Noir, Tri-Blend markers!
It's amazing what a light grey marker can do, to give him more dimension!
Here is something you DON'T want to do ---please learn from MY Mistake! LOL!!
The heat embossing on this card, was not done very well---and the reason it didn't heat "smoothly"---I FORGOT to use the Anti-Static Pouch on my project!!
Do you see how the heat embossed words, are almost smudgy??
I am AMAZED at the difference in my Heat Embossing projects, when I "remember" to use the Anti-Static Pouch. It may seem like a "small" item...but it makes a HUGE difference!!😍
When you want to heat emboss, just make sure to RUB that Anti-Static pouch over the artwork you want to emboss, PRIOR to stamping your image! 😉You too will notice a HUGE difference if you haven't used this before!
--->Can you guess what Product was used to create the Background??
Yup---you guessed it! Those FABULOUS Distress Oxide inks
I LOVE how they react to water, to create those fun dots in the background! 💗
Here is a look at this ADORABLE stamp set used on this card!  Winter Penguins stamp set is so CUTE!😊
Here's an "overall" look of the rest of the details of this card & the products used!  What a FUN, FUN card to create!!
----HELPFUL TIP ----When wanting to add Stickles, make SURE to use Intense Black ink when stamping your image.
Thank you CTMH Art Department for sharing your talent with us!
Now it's time to "Hop" on over to Michelle's Blog to see her beautiful creation!
