Today I wanted to share the 1st post of a mini album created with Picture My Life (PML) cards!  

This book was a gift that was created by the FABULOUS Close To My Heart art department!!  

These people AMAZE me with their talents and I was so EXCITED to receive a bunch of gifts to be handed out last fall at my team’s Thriving/Striving 30 contest that we WON as a team!!!

This book is bound together by a piece of cardstock for the spine, and for attaching each individual PML card to the spine.

If you haven’t tried our PML line yet – here is just ANOTHER great way to use this BEAUTIFUL product!! J There are MANY different kits to choose from!!  The album today uses cards from the Wanderful & Seaside PML.

This is in an adorable mini-album, that includes 20 pages!!  I will be sharing them here today, but if in case you are short on time, feel free to move forward to JOYCE HOUCK’s Blog to see her fabulous creation!!

This album is a 4x6 album – the size of our largest PML card. 

Take a look at the 1^st & 2^nd page…

Do you see the spot labeled 2x3?  That is a page that SWINGS itself!!!  That is a 3x4 PML card, attached to the binding.  Love this added dimension throughout this book. 

Take a look….the fish card is the other side of the 2x3 photo area.

The “You are my Happy” is one of our mini-stamp sets!!! J

March Stamp of the Month – Blog Hop…Choose Happy

The woodgrain frame is what caught my eye in this stamp set.  I thought ....why not use that "you're special" wording to create a baby card! J

Baby Card using 2 CTMH Cricut Cartridges! 

I chose to use a card base from our Artfully Sent Cricut collection.  I liked the wording at the bottom of the card, but knew I didn't need the scroll.  

So - I tried my hand at Design Space and took away the scrolls for this card design. Now...the scrolls were gone & I created my card design using our Wishes card how-to-book pattern called "Gallery".   

I used our Chalk It Up paper Collection for the background, and cut the ADORABLE giraffe from our Artbooking Cricut cartridge. He is cut from flaxen & sorbet cardstock colors.  

Did you notice the lagoon colored strip of paper?  I used our BEAUTIFUL paper fundamentals...this picture shows the glossy design that is pre-printed on this cardstock.

Chalk It UP and Artfully Sent

I enjoy being a vendor at many crops throughout the year & am so blessed to have made so many friends because of these FUN crops!  I always look forward to these days together!

A recent crop I was at, was near the Downingtown area, at East Brandywine Baptist Church…OH - what a FUN day we had together!! J

I always prepare a make n take item for them to create during the day…something they can create in about 15 minutes or so. 

It’s always fun to think of what NEW technique I can share with them at each event!!

For this year’s fall crop, I showcased our NEW Artfully Sent cartridge, liquid glass, metallic markers, Chalk It Up papers & more…

The 4x3 Smile card, was cut directly from our Artfully Sent cartridge…so EASY!!

The paper pack we used is a favorite of many - Chalk It Up!!

Did you notice the swirl strip at the bottom of the Smile card?  

I LOVE these “extra” 1/2 inch strips that we call a “zip-strip”.  Zip strips can be used in so many ways!! I LOVE using these!

By adding liquid glass to a stamped image, it gives it more dimension & creates a life-like look!! 

I love to add liquid glass to the veins of the flower petals(see picture)…and then I also used “glass” to make some of the stars pop that are printed on the Chalk It Up paper design. 

Liquid Glass can be used as an embellishment, but it also makes a wonderful, strong glue as well!!

The other items we used to create this make n’ take were…

**Metallic markers…we traced the word “Smile”

***Teal Shimmer Trim

***Gold Sequins

***Chalk It Up asst. (puffy heart)

***Gold Washi Tape

I will often create a 2 page workshop using the make n take item we created at the crop. 

For this set of pages, I used our Make It From Your Heart, vol. 2, pattern 14 to create the layout below.

This turned out to be a FUN, but quick layout!!

The items in this kit are all pre-stamped, and ready for you to put together! J

To complete this layout, you would need…

1. adhesive (3D foam is always fun)

2. Optional - liquid glass if you’d like to add some more dimension to other parts of this layout. 

Everything else is included in the kit!!!
