Cross-Stitch Wishes - January Stamp of the Month

Today we will be featuring January’s Stamp of the Month (SOTM), which is called “Cross-Stitch Wishes”. 

Since I grew up in a “sewing” home…this set appealed to me right away.  An adorable stamp set to start off 2014!!!

 With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I wanted to create a card for this occasion!  This Stamp set was the PERFECT one to use!! 

This 4 1/2” square card design comes from our WISHES how-to book…it’s found on page 94 and is called “Curtain Call”.

I love how you can create your own background with these cross stitch arrows…

…and take a look at the glitter hearts!! 

I cut out hearts with my Artiste Cricut cartridge.  For the hearts in the foreground, I used Cotton Candy cardstock & ink…the back hearts I cut them out and covered them with Teal Shimmer Trim for a little bit of sparkle & shine!! 

The TEAL shimmer trim is a NEW product that is AVAILABLE to you in January through the National Papercrafting Month special - CLOUD NINE.  Wahoo Close To My Heart!!! J
