Here is the card I created… 

This stamp set just spoke to me.  It said ”create me into a background”. J So, I did just that…I created my own background using the FUN stamps from this KABOOM stamp set!! 

 I used the ink colors of cranberry, indian corn blue, whisper & outdoor denim.

As I was creating, I had a BRAINSTORM!!!  That hasn’t happened in a while, SO I was REALLY excited!! 

Did you notice the “stars” on this card???  Well, I was able to create them with Shimmer Trim!!  Yay!!!  I folded “pleats” with my adhesive backed ribbon…and made 5 pleats - which equaled 5 points of my stars!

I added some of our Red Base & Bling to the tops of these stars, to add some glitz & sparkle.

Did you notice the “stripes”…dry embossed lines on the bottom of the card?  This is a favorite technique of mine and it was fun to create this once again!! 

I LOVE that all of Close To My Heart paper is white-cored!!  This allows you to have so many options!!  J

I created this card below using BOTH May specials!!

(ONLY $10 with a $50 order - retail value of $29.90!) 

This was quite an easy card to create…and what made it even easier… the card pattern comes from a how-to-book, Make It From Your Heart, vol 2 - pattern 23.

I wanted to use my Spray Pen to fill in the background, so I filled up my pen with 6 lines of Bamboo re-inker & 5 lines of water.  I screwed the spritzer on the tube…and then had some FUN!!

I sprayed my card base, prior to attaching any pieces, and love the extra texture this spray design gives to this card. 

Did you notice the pattern on the cardstock that mats the wording? Both solid cardstocks have a different pattern on them. The cardstock included in this paper pack is BEAUTIFUL!!!

To get the edged looked around my wording, I just “swiped” the cardstock in my Bamboo ink.  A fast & easy way to add some color to my edges!! 

To complete this card, I added some embellishments to add that extra sparkle & shine!!

I LOVE the colors that come in this Cloud Nine Cardmaking Kit and adored the pre-cut hearts in this kit.  While this kit is a CARDMAKING kit…of COURSE there are many other ways to use the content of this kit! J

So…off I went thinking about how I could use these hearts in a different way.  
Here is the 12x12 page I created …

Did you notice???  I covered the hearts with BOTH kinds of “tape” that are included in the Cloud Nine Cardmaking Kit….FUN!!! J

CTMH has created a BRAND NEW color in our shimmer trim collection - TEAL!!!  I adore this color!!

I covered the 2nd pre-cut heart in our NEW gold dotted washi tape!!  Yes, you guessed it - CTMH has also debuted a NEW washi tape!!!  Wahoo!!

  

I chose to cut out two "Love" sayings from the Artiste cartridge at 2 1/4".  I cut it once in Lagoon cardstock & once in Crème Brulee cardstock.  

I then filled in my “o” & “e” with gold dotted washi tape & popped the Lagoon "love" on top of the other one!! J

I hope you enjoyed my version of another way to use these FABULOUS products that are included in January’s EXCLUSIVE card kit!!! J

 With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I wanted to create a card for this occasion!  This Stamp set was the PERFECT one to use!! 

This 4 1/2” square card design comes from our WISHES how-to book…it’s found on page 94 and is called “Curtain Call”.

I love how you can create your own background with these cross stitch arrows…

…and take a look at the glitter hearts!! 

I cut out hearts with my Artiste Cricut cartridge.  For the hearts in the foreground, I used Cotton Candy cardstock & ink…the back hearts I cut them out and covered them with Teal Shimmer Trim for a little bit of sparkle & shine!! 

The TEAL shimmer trim is a NEW product that is AVAILABLE to you in January through the National Papercrafting Month special - CLOUD NINE.  Wahoo Close To My Heart!!! J
