Today I wanted to share a way for you to use our NEW (and exclusive to Jan 2016) Picture My Life (PML) pocket cards!!J
I've been ENJOYING decorating my Close To My Heart 2016 planner, and I still have a lot to-do to complete this task....HOWEVER, when I saw these PML cards, I KNEW I wanted to incorporate them into my planner.
So - let's check out what I've added to my CTMH planner....
My 1st page of my planner...
I often like to "try new things" so made a fitting caption to the beginning of my 2016 planner!!
The "2016" came from our retired Nov stamp of the month stamp set.
Also - you'll want to note the FUN arrow washi tape that I've used on these pages. I didn't use any other adhesive...just washi to attach my PML cards!
Next - I created some ADDITIONAL pocket pages using CTMH's Artbooking Cricut collection. Yay - for our EXCLUSIVE Cricut cartridges!!!
I cut this pocket in white daisy cardstock, and then wrapped some of our Charlotte paper around the front of the pocket.
You will see in the following pictures, that I used some other NEW products that were just released on January 1, 2016....

Take a look at the left side of this picture below...
this is the back side of another pocket folder I created. In this case, I chose to background stamp this, so that it would "blend in" with the 2016 Planner design.
Ink colors I used throughout these photos are....

and Black (Memento - tuxedo black)
When attaching the PML cards to the pages, I tried to use the washi tape as a "hinge"....so that the top card would "swing open" and I could write down some journaling on the inside of the large PML card.
And last....I REALLY wanted to have a way to look at upcoming dates for birthdays, at a glance. So...with the INCLUDED "months" PML cards, I created these birthday page reminders that I will be able to use YEAR after YEAR!!
I wanted to use both the NEW 4x3 photo protectors & the 4x6 ones too - SO....this is what I came up with.
Again - by SIMPLE embellishing - just stamps, thin cuts & inks... I was excited how these turned out. J

Keep in mind - --- each card has the SAME images on both sides!!
The one side the wording/pictures are horizontal, and the other side is vertical. I LOVE that CTMH creates our pocket cards this way!!
