~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh---what a BEAUTIFUL, new Catalog!!
There are so MANY things to choose from, but today, I created this card! 😉
This card is actually the Make N take Card for my Open House this week!
Each person that places an order, will receive this card as a "thank you" gift from me!🤩
Let's take a closer LOOK at this lovely card!
I ADORED the new Leaf stamp set in this mini-catalog. It's called "Autumn Is Calling" ...here's a closer look.
These LEAVES...the swirl, the words. 🍂🍁🍂💗
I included the "Stamp Rolling" technique in this card design and used it on the Leaves.
 Take a look at this photo...do you see how there are TWO "tones" of color to the orange (Nectarine) leaf?
That was created using ONLY the Nectarine ink pad!
How to Stamp Roll
1. Ink up stamp image with ink
2. Stamp inked up image on SCRAP paper
3. Take stamp, and roll the edges of the stamp in the ink again.
4. You can look at the stamp...and you'll notice you now have DARKER shades of the ink around the outside edge of the stamp!
5. Stamp the image on the desired paper.
6. You have a two-toned stamped image! 💗
If you look at the SOLID leaf in the photo above, you may also notice one of our NEWEST colors --- Shortbread -- YUM!!
I used the shortbread ink to ink this one leaf AND.....take a look at the border stamp (which was probably hard to see on the first card photo).
Who LOVES this SWIRL BORDER as much as I do???😍😍
Next, let's take a peek at the "coffee" part of the card. ☕ This is another FAVORITE stamp set in this catalog & it's called "Pumpkin Treats".  Here's a look at this Stamp & Thin Cut set.
WOW---so many fun images!! What would you create with this stamp set? 🤔
The coffee cup drew me...and this is how I created it.
I used ourTri-Blend alcohol Markers to color the cup. FIRST...the image was stamped with our Intense Black ink pad.  This is a MUST HAVE ink, if you like to color with alcohol markers, watercolor pencils or watercolor paints! 😉 The ink does not bleed when touched by these items...and it allows you to color in beautifully!
Coral Blend
Gold Brown Blend
Vintage Blue Blend
I finished off the Whipped Topping by adding Icicle Stickles Glitter Glue!
AND...I have to DRAW attention to the Lovely, Gorgeous tiny strip of Glitter paper on the LEFT side of the card ---the NEW Harbour Glitter Paper!! ✨✨✨
A STUNNING color for sure!! 💗
Thanks so much for stopping by today! :)
Now it's time to "Hop" on over to Becca's Expressions to see her beautiful creation!
Technique Hop - Anything Goes
Welcome to our "Anything Goes"
Technique Blog Hop!
Today, we will be featuring a technique that WE choose! 😍✂🥳
Come on in and check it out!
Here we go!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There are many items retiring this from Close To My Heart and today we'll be focusing on MANY Techniques using these products!

Here is a look at the card I created for today's hop. 😍

My first thought when I was creating this card, was that I wanted to use Liquid Glass as an accent SOMEWHERE on my card, 😉 so let's start with that today!

1. Liquid Glass--did you know you can use this product as glue AND/OR  embellishment?😮💡

Take a look at this paper from our Isabella paper suite
I took this full sheet of paper and cut out the squares I needed.

Then...Liquid Glass to the rescue! 💗 I added Liquid Glass to different parts of each Square, creating my own embellishment!

Can you see the shine and "glass like look"
What an easy and pretty accent, whether you use it on designer paper or on a stamped image!🥰

2. Splattering with Shimmer Brush

A QUICK & Easy way to get rid of some white space in the background, is to pull out your shimmer brush to create some splattering!!

To create a light splattering of splatters....take another object (like a pen) and tap that pen on the end of the shimmer brush, while holding it over the item you'd like splattered! 🤩  Have fun practicing on some scrap paper first...and then add splatters to your Artwork WHEREVER you'd like! 💕

3. Tone on Tone stamping
It seems I forget to do this EASY way of adding colors to my stamped images😬.  I cut out my Thin Cut (metal die) shapes from the Doodled Florals stamp & Thin Cut collection

By cutting out the shapes in colored cardstock, and stamping with coordinating ink color, you create a completed look!
Colors used --- Lemonade Cardstock --> Sundance ink
Bluebird Cardstock & ink
Sage Cardstock & ink

4.Dry Embossing
The last item I'll share today...oh how I ADORE how "much" detail comes when using our  5x7 Embossing Folder!.

I LOVE our 5x7 size embossing folders!! Not only do they completely cover a card front, BUT ....they also have a 4 inch slit in the middle of the folder, that you can slide your 12" strip of paper through, and emboss a LONGER piece of paper!!

This folder design is called Spring Blossom & it's one of FOUR designs that will be retiring on August 31st.

I hope you enjoyed this card & were INSPIRED today!!

Here's a list of "ingredients" I used to create this fun card in case you'd like to recreate it on your own!

Z3969 Isabella Cardmaking Stamp & Thin Cut set
Z3960  Doodled Florals Stamp & Thin Cut set

Technique Hop - Here Comes the Sun (sunburst thin cut)

 Welcome to our

"Sunburst Creations!"
Technique Blog Hop!

Today, we will be featuring techniques that will incorporate one of our NEWEST Thin Cuts (metal dies) --- our SUNBURST BACKGROUND!!

Come on in and check it out!

If you have come here from the Brenda's  Blog, you are on the right path!   If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants by clicking HERE

Here we go!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are SO MANY fun ways to use this Sunburst Thin Cut
Let's take a look at the card I created, and then we'll talk about the details of this card.
I ADORE the color palette of our current "You Are Enough" collection at CTMH, and that is where the color combo inspiration came from for this card.
I started by cutting the Sunburst Die in Blue Belle cardstock (CS), and then followed by cutting, Glacier CS, Peach CS & Dreamy Holographic paper.
  I was inspired by fellow CTMH Consultant, Laura Beacham, to use a rectangle stitched frame thin cut in the middle of this card.  This was the perfect place to stamp a sentiment & add some fun!
Did you notice the "Shiny Item" I used on this card?  I used our lovely Holographic Papers :) :)
We have FIVE different shades of Holographics to choose from, & I used the Dreamy shade on this card.  ALSO---exclusively available in our "You Are Enough" collection---are the adhesive-backed Holographic Butterflies!  So pretty!
And of COURSE, you can't forget our lovely Glitter paper too!! I used our Sapphire Glitter paper to cut out this pretty butterfly.  The stamped image behind the butterfly came from the You Are Enough stamp set.  I'm using that shape, more and more!! It seems to fit into almost any creation ---page or card!
You may have noticed the Embossing design on the Peach Cardstock too.  This is the PERFECT way to add some texture in a way that doesn't draw away from the design of the card! I used our Cascading Dots 5x7 Embossing Folder.  Isn't is SO NEAT how that subtle design, adds the perfect extra touch?
I hope you enjoyed this card & were INSPIRED today!!
Here's a list of "ingredients" I used to create this fun card in case you'd like to recreate it on your own!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Here is a look at this month's EXCLUSIVE stamp set!! 💗

What a FUN set of stamp sets!! I know I can and will use these for MANY of my outdoor Scrapbook layouts--but what about using this on a CARD design too? 🤔

Let's take a look at what I created!🥾🧭

I used THREE main ink colors throughout this card... Sage, Toffee and our Color of the Year - Blue Belle.  What GREAT outdoor colors for this card design! I even chose to use 2nd generation stamping for the curvy borderto pull a 4th color into the mix!
By stamping your inked image on a SCRAP paper and then stamping again on your artwork....you get a lighter shade of the ink color you were using! This is what we call 2nd generation. 😉😍

To keep the "outdoor" and "woodsy" feel of this card, I pulled in our Woodgrain 5x7 Embossing folder!! I placed my Toffee Cardstock inside & ta-dah....a rustic look!!

The BEAUTIFUL new Leaf Layer Thin Cuts caught my eye👀 in this mini catalog...have you taken notice of them?! 💗
 I thought our Copper Ore Cardstock might be the perfect match...and it was!

 I hope you can see the "shine" this Cardstock has! It's a BEAUTY of cardstock & I'm so glad I chose to purchase it!  The catalog can not capture the BEAUTY of this Copper Ore!

I needed a "backdrop" for my leaves...our Hexagon Stitched Thin Cuts to the RESCUE!

Did you know these Hexagons come in 5 different sizes?? (4 1/2", 3 1/2", 2 1/2", 1 1/2", and 1/2") I LOVE these options!

Let's take a close-up look at the "hello" on this card---can you see where I grabbed that word from?😉

Do you see it??🤔😉? I used PART of the "hello summer" stamp border!!🌞  I used a post-it note to block off the word summer....inked up the "hello" in black...and then took off the inky post-it note prior to stamping it on my handmade banner!!

The "highlight" behind the word hello is a STAMP image!! Check out this fabulous stamp set ---from our "Story by Stacy" collection!

Our "Stitched Lattice Background Thin Cut", doesn't have to be for a fancy card. 😉 I cut this Background Thin Cut out of Blue Belle CS, and was excited how WELL it fit this rustic card too!  Isn't the scallop edge the perfect fit?

I used our Rose Gold Sequins & our Wood Arrows to make the final touches on my card.  I hope you enjoy it, as much as I enjoyed making it!
Thanks for stopping by today! 😍🙌
