Here is a look at this month's EXCLUSIVE stamp set!! 💗

What a FUN set of stamp sets!! I know I can and will use these for MANY of my outdoor Scrapbook layouts--but what about using this on a CARD design too? 🤔

Let's take a look at what I created!🥾🧭

I used THREE main ink colors throughout this card... Sage, Toffee and our Color of the Year - Blue Belle.  What GREAT outdoor colors for this card design! I even chose to use 2nd generation stamping for the curvy borderto pull a 4th color into the mix! 

By stamping your inked image on a SCRAP paper and then stamping again on your artwork....you get a lighter shade of the ink color you were using! This is what we call 2nd generation. 😉😍 

 

To keep the "outdoor" and "woodsy" feel of this card, I pulled in our Woodgrain 5x7 Embossing folder!! I placed my Toffee Cardstock inside & ta-dah....a rustic look!! 

The BEAUTIFUL new Leaf Layer Thin Cuts caught my eye👀 in this mini catalog...have you taken notice of them?! 💗

 I thought our Copper Ore Cardstock might be the perfect match...and it was!

 I hope you can see the "shine" this Cardstock has! It's a BEAUTY of cardstock & I'm so glad I chose to purchase it!  The catalog can not capture the BEAUTY of this Copper Ore!

I needed a "backdrop" for my leaves...our Hexagon Stitched Thin Cuts to the RESCUE! 

Did you know these Hexagons come in 5 different sizes?? (4 1/2", 3 1/2", 2 1/2", 1 1/2", and 1/2") I LOVE these options!

Let's take a close-up look at the "hello" on this card---can you see where I grabbed that word from?😉

Do you see it??🤔😉? I used PART of the "hello summer" stamp border!!🌞  I used a post-it note to block off the word summer....inked up the "hello" in black...and then took off the inky post-it note prior to stamping it on my handmade banner!!

The "highlight" behind the word hello is a STAMP image!! Check out this fabulous stamp set ---from our "Story by Stacy" collection!

Our "Stitched Lattice Background Thin Cut", doesn't have to be for a fancy card. 😉 I cut this Background Thin Cut out of Blue Belle CS, and was excited how WELL it fit this rustic card too!  Isn't the scallop edge the perfect fit? 

I used our Rose Gold Sequins & our Wood Arrows to make the final touches on my card.  I hope you enjoy it, as much as I enjoyed making it!

Today I have a card to share with you. This card was a part of a free Make N Take I gave at my Open House Event, that I held last week.  Let's take a look. 

 

Close To My Heart released TWO New Idea Books on September 1st -- and there are so MANY, FABULOUS, BRAND NEW products! There were so many new goodies to choose from as I created this card!

You'll also notice that PRETTY blue shade of cardstock.  Please WELCOME, our NEW "Color of the Year" named Blue Belle! 

I LOVE how the color popped on this cardstock, as I used one of our NEW 5x7 Embossing folders -- "Floral Lace"--to "indent" the floral design. 

I also used TWO of our NEW stamp & thin cut collections on this card too. Check out these BEAUTIFUL & very useful stamp sets!

Z3698 Stitched Florals (I KNOW this will be a favorite of mine) 

Z3780 Birthday Borders Stamp & Thin Cuts 

Take note --the "Happy Birthday" is all one stamp image...BUT...by using my SHARP micro-tip scissors, I cut the Birthday stamp image apart, 😮That way, I could stack the words on top of each other, instead of side by side. 💗

This doesn't hurt the stamp set at all -- and I can EASILY "butt together" the cut pieces to form a straight line again when placing them on my clear block. Don't you LOVE the many ways you can use Clear Stamps? 😊 

The Happy Birthday, was stamped with our LOVELY Blue Belle ink, onto a Ballerina Cardstock piece that was cut out using our NEW Stitched Scallop Brackets--fun, fun!

Stickles make the PERFECT center for flowers....and it's even BETTER when we have 5 new Stickle colors to choose from! 😍

It's AMAZING what a little "sparkle & shine" will do for your creations!

 

Speaking of sparkle and shine---did you take note of that sparkly, NEW Ballerina glitter paper?!?! I cut the decorative border from our NEW Fancy Borders Thin Cut collection.  This border set includes 5 different borders and is at a fabulous price too!
