Oh---what a BEAUTIFUL, new Catalog!! 

I decided to create a card today, with possibly my FAVORITE Stamp & Thin Cut set in this book...let's take a look at my cards & then I'll explain WHY it's my favorite. 😉 

This card design comes from the Hillside Cottage Cardmaking Workshop kit. 

The card on the left is Card Design #3 in the workshop. 

The card on the right is my Krista's Crafty "changed up" version of this card design!😊

Let's take a closer look! 😍

I ADORE what CTMH has done in this new catalog with a few of the stamp sets. 

They have created stamp sets where you can stamp BEAUTIFUL layered floral clusters, and you will not have to cut out the entire grouping by hand!😮

CTMH has created a Thin Cut (metal die) to cut out the finished shape! 

All we need to do is look at the enclosed package insert for ideas on how we'd like to stamp our flowers! 💗

Here's a Close-up look at one of these flower clusters....

How BEAUTIFUL is this?!?! 

I used 3 ink colors ---Paprika, Flamingo & New England Ivy.  

To get the two tones of pinks...I just "stamped off" my flower on scrap paper before applying it a 2nd time as my flower on the cut piece.  This is called 2nd Generation stamping.

The "shading" behind the flowers, is the Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink! Isn't it neat how it "highlights" the cluster of flowers?!

My FAVORITE thin cut in this set---is the STITCHED LINE! I ADORE this thin cut & love the ways it can be used!! 

Can you see WHERE I used this stitched die on this card?  😉

I am ALWAYS amazed at what such a "small" touch can do to the beauty of the project!! 

I also chose to add some Black Shimmer Trim to "my" changed up card as well.  I love the touch of glitter & shine it brings to this card!

Here are the cards I'm sharing today!

Close To My Heart has some FABULOUS Workshop kits--and this Jingle Joy Cardmaking Kit is no exception!

I LOVE the kits they create, and I also enjoy doing a little "Krista's Crafty" tweak to each of the kits, by using their SAME card designs...but pulling in another stamp set of my choice. ;)  

First ---let's take a look at what comes in the Jingle Joy cardmaking kit & then we'll take a closer look at my cards. 

This kit can be found on your consultant's CTMH website--- I ADORE the Exclusive Stamp set & thin cut bundle that is included in this kit!

Take note that THIS particular kit ---INCLUDES a bottle of Silver Stickles too!! 

Here are the Card designs that CTMH created using this Jingle Joy collection! 

Look how BEAUTIFUL they are! 

We ALWAYS learn a technique in our Cardmaking kits & this time, we learned about using the Distress Oxide inks, as well as using the Stickles! 

 Today, I'm just focusing on the Design of card #2 today. ( I'll be sharing my other card designs over on my Business FB page & my IG accounts. )

 

Let's take a look at the 3 cards I created using the SAME Card #2 design. 

You can see the original card design in the top right of the photo above. 

For my other two cards, I took the SAME cuts of papers, and rearranged or even "trimmed down" some of the pieces to create TWO totally NEW cards! 

I also added in a stamp set of my choice --more details on that set below. 

Here are the inks & the Light Green Tri-Blend marker I used to complete "my version" of my cards. 

I've been having SO MUCH FUN "playing" with the distress oxide inks & I loved that we used them to STAMP with on these cards too!! These inks really DO give a vibrant, bright color when stamped!! 

I LOVED adding extra Stickles to my cards--- notice how you can use those Stickles for a thin "ribbon" on this card here! 

---OR ---

why not use it to add "sparkle & shine" to the large amount of gifts---how fun! 

Here's a look at the ADORABLE "the Jubilee Crew" stamp/thin cut set that I used to create my extra cards.  

These SNOWPEOPLE just "grabbed" me the minute I saw them! So cute!!
