This month we have  14 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing items they created using these FABULOUS kits.   This hop is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Wahoo!!

These card kits are something I purchase EACH season.  Cardmaking is where I started in my papercrafting "world" and creating cards, will always be dear to my heart!

Today, I used my favorite, current cardmaking kit called "Here for You".  This kit features the Some Kinda Wonderful paper pack & includes it's own exclusive stamp set!  

Let's take a look at what I created with this kit...and then make sure to STAY TUNED to see what actually comes in the original kit!   

This stamp set is lovely, and I tried a few different ways to use this stamp set!
Here are my two cards I created...

I had already created this kit of cards, but wanted to use up "scraps"  from the leftovers. :)  I added the following items to create my cards above....
Memo Fundamentals
Sapphire Cardstock

Inks use: Raspberry, Blossom, Willow, Lagoon & Sapphire. 


Let's take a look at the first card....

I stamped the flowers "normal"....by stamping the base a lighter color, and the "sketch" part of the flower in a darker shade of ink - then I cut out those circle flowers. :) 

My pattern design for this card came from our Originals How-To-Book, pattern "Balance It Out"

My second card, I decided to get out some white embossing powder & the heat tool....take a look at this card. :) 

I used the "map" paper from the Memo Fundamentals, and then used my VersaMark stamp pad to stamp the flowers, added white embossing powder, heated it to melt the powder & then sponged the embossed images with lagoon & blossom ink! :) 

I adore the open leaves on this stamp set...and used those leaves to add a touch of Willow Green to this card.  

The blossom colored banner, is leftover cardstock from the kit.  I was really excited to see how well the SAPPHIRE color worked with the original color scheme of this cardmaking kit.

Here are the 2 card designs (4 cards, by using both sides of our double sided paper) that CTMH has created for this kit.  

They are such pretty cards....I ADORE the clusters of flowers & leaves...so beautiful!! Take a look at some close ups....

Well, if you know me...LOL ;) 

...you know I will OFTEN change up some of the kit designs, according to what I know my customers will like. :)  

So...while I do like the wording of "I'm here for you" and "You're Not Alone" that are INCLUDED in this stamp set...I knew those sayings were a bit more personal, and more "generic" type sayings may be better when making a batch of 12 card designs.  

So I had an idea...I pulled out another stamp set - called "Dreamin' Big - Cardmaking" & the Thin Cuts to match.  

Take a look at this CUTE stamp set - and notice the font of the words, is very close (if not the SAME) as the font of the stamp set in this card kit!!!

AND...GUESS WHAT???  

This BUNDLE (stamp set & thin cut) are on SALE during March 2017!!!

Ok...so let's take a look at the set of cards I created. :)  

I used the SAME paper pieces, but I added the butterflies & wording from the above stamp set (Dreamin' Big Cardmaking Bundle) ...

What do you think?  Do you see the changes? :) 

These cards still look VERY similar - but I think the "Just for You" and the "Thinking of You" wording will be able to used for many more occasions. 

Here's another CARD I created with some leftover scraps from this card kit...

I took the "upright" card design - and just turned it on it's side, and stamped my images accordingly.  Again - a SIMPLE change, but a FUN one! :)

I was asked to create some goodies using NEW products, and was given the <<<NEW>>> Some Kinda Wonderful paper pack to work with. I decided to create a set of cards.  

Earlier this week I shared my fox card...today let's take a look at the ADORABLE turtle card...the 2nd card in this 5 card designed workshop! :)

I created this card using the pattern #21 in the Make It From your Heart, volume 1 how-to-book.  Have I ever told you how much I ADORE these how-to-books? :) They are my go to books for sure!! 

I used a NEW paper pack - Some Kinda Wonderful...check this bright & cheerful paper pack out!  Love it!!

I used 2 stamp sets in this cards creation too...

and....Some Kinda Wonderful - Scrapbooking stamp set. 

Take a peek at the close up of my turtles....

I pulled out my "almost forgotten" watercolor pencils and CTMH's Blending Pen to color in these critters...what FUN!!  

Take a look at the "friends" image...

...I practiced my "stamp rolling" technique on this piece.  I think some of you might know this technique as the "rock and roll" technique...a GREAT way to bring some added texture and design to this card.

There are so many NEW goodies in this SE1 mini book, it was hard to choose what to share with you today! :)  
I do adore the bright, happy papers of the Some Kinda Wonderful paper collection, so let's take a look at a card I created using this paper pack.  

Check out the card I created for today :)  

I used a NEW stamp set from the SE 1 mini-book....it's called Some Kinda Wonderful - cardmaking....take a look. 

Notice the BLUE outlined shapes....this means there is a coordinating THIN CUT (metal dies) to go with this stamp set!  The price for the stamp is is ONLY $13.95 .....AND....the price for the BUNDLE (stamp set & metal dies) is ONLY $26.95!!  A GREAT deal!! 

I had fun creating the background of this card....the sketchy circles & journaling rectangle come from this coordinating stamp set...Some Kinda Wonderful - scrapbooking stamp set.  

When background stamping, I often use plain cardstock, but in this case I decided to background stamp on a pre-patterned paper! 



I created an ENTIRE workshop using these 2 stamp sets....so stay tuned as I share the other 4 designs of cards, using these fun loving animals. :) 

CTMH Art department also did a fabulous job with this stamp set...take a peek!
