2013 Holiday Gift Guide Blog Hop! :)

Welcome to our

Holiday Gift Guide Blog Hop!

We are thrilled to introduce you to the BRAND NEW products from our CTMH Holiday Gift Guide, available October 15 through December 31 (or while supplies last).  Thank you so much to Dana, for getting this hop together!!

An extra special BONUS that comes with the debut of this Holiday Gift Guide....PURCHASE $100 in CTMH products (from the Holiday gift Guide OR our current Idea Book), and get a "starred" item in this booklet for FREE!!!  These "starred" items range from $17.95-$4.95 & there are PLENTY to choose from!  J

If you have come here from Rebecca's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.

If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here

It’s super simple to hop along with us - just click on the link at the end of each blog post to move to the next one! Here we go!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I LOVE the new Sparkle & Shine paper pack, and KNEW I was going to use this paper for this Blog Hop! J
Here is the 2 page Christmas layout I created …
I used the Make It From Your Heart, volume 2 how-to booklet, pattern #6 as a guide to put this layout together with ease.  This handy-dandy little how-to booklet is the PERFECT solution to quick, beautiful layouts and cards…and it’s only $7.95!!  Love this bargain!!
The coordinating Sparkle & Shine My Complements are the PERFECT match with these papers!
You receive (2) 6x12 sheets of colored chipboard images, ready to punch out and use on your creations…the BEST part- they are ONLY $4.95!!!
Here you can see how I used these complements on the title side of my layout.
I also used some MORE new items that are debuting in the Holiday Gift Guide…J
Washi Tape…we have 6 NEW rolls…WoooHoooo!
I used the Juniper 1” wide washi tape on the bottom of my layout, and then layered the pennant Complement over top of it.
I also used the red chevron washi tape…I LOVE how you can use Washi tape to create banners!!! Take a look at the close up picture…
***Important notice~ each roll of washi tape, comes in a roll of 15 yards…the Holiday Gift guide has a misprint saying the roll is only 5 yds! J
Take a look at these GORGEOUS trees!
I LOVE the colors in Sparkle & Shine kit…Ruby, Slate & Juniper!!  Did you notice the sparkles I placed around the outside of the trees?
I used another FUN & FABULOUS new product called Sparkle Shapes! They are made to coordinate with our new Trim the Tree stamp set, but I chose to use them on my trees instead.  I just trimmed them up a bit to make a perfect fit for my larger trees!!
I had completed the layout, and liked it…but didn’t REALLY like it - do you know what I mean? J
I knew it needed something else, maybe along the outside edge of the page…why not try my hand at stitching!!
I pulled out our Ruby Mini-Medley collection and started to separate the strands.  You can’t see it very well, but there is a silver strand in these threads…it looks so much better in person!
I hope you enjoyed my layout using the NEW items from the Holiday Gift Guide!!  Now it’s time to "Hop" on over to Sheri’s Sweet Studio to see her AMAZING artwork!
Be sure to visit all the Consultants in the Hop to get some great crafting ideas! Remember, the Holiday Gift Guide is only available until December 31!
Contact me or shop directly from www.kristah.ctmh.com to get your holiday products today!
Thanks for stopping by!  Blessings to EACH of you!!
Joyful Stars Blog Hop ~ Frosted flower Christmas card
Welcome to our monthly
Joyful Stars Blog Hop!!!!
We're excited to share our creativity with you using our favorite Close To My Heart products!
THIS MONTH we have items to share that are fall or winter themed.  So come on in and  see what BEAUTIFUL projects my fellow consultants have creating using the AMAZING products from Close To My Heart!!
 This blog hop is easy to do…just click on the link at the end of the post to go to the next creation!!
If you get lost along the way, CLICK HERE to see the list of this month’s hoppers!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If you have arrived from the very talented Nancy Brown’s blog you are right on track.

Today I’d like to share with you a card I created using the Frosted paper pack.

I LOVE this kit, and was excited to see how this card turned out as I pulled the color Blush into the stamping portion.

Take a look at my card!J

I used the slate dotted washi tape in the middle of my card, and used a zip strip and some blush cardstock to create my banners.

I used the NEW Artbooking Cricut cartridge (exclusively from CTMH) for the frame on this card…this stamp set is ONLY available through our Artbooking cartridge BUNDLE!! J

 I LOVE the THREE stamp sets that are included in this Artbooking Bundle!

Here is a close up...did you notice how I first stamped the words in Twilight ink, and then restamped them off center a bit, in the Blush ink to give a slight shadow.

The words come from a FABULOUS stamp set (one of my favorite this Idea Book)...it comes from the Frosted Workshop on the Go CARD making kit.

Here is a picture of this stamp set...it is SURE to be a favorite!!

To finish off the card design, I wanted to use the beautiful, coordinating Frosted Assortment.  Take a look…

I chose to use 2 of the flowers, and then added our small sparkle flourishes to give it a sparkling touch.

Now hop on over to Lori’s blog to see what amazing artwork she has created this month!!

Happy Hopping and we’ll see you on the 9th next month, with the Joyful Stars team members sharing some NEW goodies!!

Blessings to you for a BEAUTIFUL day!!!
